Thanks again Trip Advisor for helping us choose this spot. Excellent service from Stephen from S. Africa and very good food. We chose the corn bread as an appetizer and it didn't disappoint. Had either jalapenos or some thing in it but not spicy just enough to add flavor was very moist. Menu was quite varied in variety and in... More

This place was worth the wait! I can't say enough about the rotisserie chicken. Moist! Tasty! Outstanding! And everything that you read about the cornbread is true! The bar also made a great Moscow mule! Have to say I was less than impressed with the deviled eggs, strong vinegar taste.

Great bar. Loved the lemon drop martini. Tuesday night and the bar was open wide! Been here on a weekend and couldn't move, so this was a refreshing change. Food was good. My Macho salad came without ANY goat cheese at all on it. One of the reasons why I ordered it. The waiter was great, and brought it out... More

Went here many years ago and decided to return. One of my party thought they only had rotisserie chicken and not much else. Was she surprised. A hot item this past week was whole artichokes. We watched them being roasted on the grill. We loved the cornbread which seems to be a specialty and the chicken as well as the... More

The best, juiciest chicken I ever had plus crispy, matchstick fries! Soooo good. Also like their peanut slaw.

My wife and I recently ate at Bandera's on a Saturday night. We made reservations as there is typically a wait on Friday/Saturday nights. The table was ready and we experienced great service from the moment we arrived. They have a small selection of local/craft beers on tap but their is still great variety in the limited list. Great cocktail... More

Long wait - but worth it. Delicious food, beautifully prepared but served in a slightly noisy atmosphere. Servers very well-versed in the dishes and wine.

Whenever I have business in the Phoenix area, I have dinner at Bandera. For someone traveling alone, it's an easy place to be. The food is great (especially the roasted artichokes) and the staff could not be more friendly. You won't be disappointed.

We were looking for a place to have a nice steak and we found it! We were seated near the back of the restaurant so we were able to see the chefs work in the kitchen area, which was enjoyable! The chef at the grill cooked my filet to perfection which is not always easy when I order it "well".... More

Regretted not having ordered their delicious tender roast chicken and comfort-food potatoes. Had to trade bites with my husband to get more of this. My Macho Salad had a very interesting mix of ingredients, but think the flavors competed with one another. Will definitely go back, and will get the chicken next time.
