Good Shared appetizers/small plates

We decided to go with 4 shared plates to get a good variety of tastes. It was good idea as it was more than enough food (plus we added a dessert). The waiter was excellent, and staggered the arrival of each plate so we got to focus and enjoy each plate one at a time. Started with the Stetson... read more

I recently attended dinner with a large group of business associates, we were promptly seated and quickly the server was taking drink orders. We ordered an array of appetizers and passed them around everything tasted good my favorite was the scallops with a corn nut coating, seared to perfection. Everyone enjoyed the meals, the menu has some unique offerings in... More

Very good dinner. The mushroom dish is a real must have. The meat is really excellent as expected in such a place. Great wine list although not so easy to read.

It is a Saturday night out on the town, so away we went to discover a restaurant that we have not previously tried. Yes, I know that Cowboy Ciao in Scottsdale’s Old Town has been around for 19 years, but we seem to frequent our favorites, so this was a new experience. They have a great location in the Old... Very different menu choices with great tasting food and nice presentation. The interior of the restaurant is definitely less than shabby chick (very Mexican looking) but the food is worth a visit or more and the price is right!

This restaurant was recommended by several friends in Colorado Springs, so when we were visiting Scottsdale, we decided to try it out. SO GLAD we did. The manager recommended several dishes and he was spot on; our server was very attentive, friendly, and totally accommodating to our special dietary needs. I highly recommend this for dinner!

We were in town for a convention and traveled from downtown Phoenix to this restaurant after reading the great reviews. There were 6 in our party and when we arrived we were pleased with the overall feel of the restaurant. The waiter we had really put a damper on our experience - he was curt, indifferent - bordering on rude.... More

We were part of a group of eleven for lunch. We found the food to be excellent! The chopped salad was wonderful and so was everything else. Nice atmosphere in Old Town Scottsdale. The only negative was that the waiter was not very responsive when it was time to get our checks. I would definitely go there again!

We were whisked to our table right on time & although the restaurant and bar were bustling, the tables are spaced far enough apart for an intimate conversation. As others have noted, the chopped salad is a highlight, but we also enjoyed our cocktails and the rest of our meal. Stand-out dishes included: short ribs rich smoked cauliflower & root... More

After reading the reviews here on Trip Advisor, we had to try the Stetson chopped salad. It was fabulous! No exaggerations! Our server kindly made some suggestions that made our dinner perfect. The decadent mushroom dish was rich and flavorful, and my husband said his steak was exactly the way he likes it. The food and service lived up to... More
