We really enjoy the food & atmosphere. For lunch I had the "Open-Face Steak Sandwich" my spouse had "The Stetson Chopped Salad." The meat on the sandwich is excellent, sauce is outstanding. Salad alone worth the trip. You will not be disappointed

Can't believe I have lived here for a few years and didn't find out about this restaurant until this year. A friends took me saying that it was her favorite place for salad. And it met all the criteria for a great salad....healthy, variety of textures, colorful, and most importantly, so tasty! The name of the salad is the Stetson... More

I think the Chef here is so talented that he may forget not everyone has his palette. I just want my food to taste good - not have a-hundred-and-one new and exotic ingredients. Don't get me wrong - the food is excellent and service is impeccable. I just left feeling like I SHOULD have liked it - but it just... More

The chopped salad is the best I have ever had!! Every trip we make to Phoenix, this is always on our list. A great way to end an afternoon of shopping! The martinis are also to die for and the service is always prompt and friendly. You can't do Scottsdale without doing Cowboy Ciao!

Totally agree with previous reviewers. The Stetson salad is bar none the best salad ever! Other menu items were awesome as well. Ray the server one of the best servers we have had. Will be returning and highly recommended.

Cowboy Ciao has a great relaxed ambiance and unique decor, but the food has an upscale flair. Their famous Stetson Chopped Salad was worth the drive alone. In fact, I never order salads for dinner but this was one of the best meals I had while in Arizona (paired with their Asiago Ciabatta - amazing). The restaurant also has space... More

Recommended by friends specifically for the Stetson Chopped Salad if nothing else and worth the venture for that alone. With that said, Cowboy Ciao's Chicken-Fried Trout entrée has become both a gastronomique favourite and go-to item unto itself as well as the Exotic Mushroom Pan Fry. Plenty of other worthwhile dishes, but the aforementioned favourites always stand out. Unfortunate though... More

We came here after a long day of traveling and felt like we were judged for not ordering drinks and expensive apps. We shared 4 small plates and had very mediocre service. The food was worth it!

Food quality was good but some items did not quite gel. Cheese plate has a good mix of interesting cheeses but came without adequate crackers. There were numerous items with fennel pollen, including dessert meringues. Flavor was OK but meringues were overly chewy inside.
