Excellent menu, service so so

We walked in around 1:30 pm, the place was pretty empty, lunch crowd gone. We were waited at the door for such a long time before someone greeted us. We were then told to wait to be seated. Ok, we waited and waited. Why so long to get seated In an empty restaurant? Once we were finally... read more

One of our favorites in Scottsdale. Very consistent great food and ambiance. Definitely a place for foodies! Best chopped salad on the planet!

We drove in from Maricopa with friends. The food was delicious; they had a really good wine list, the prices were not outrageous, and the wait staff was extremely helpful. I enjoyed the easy way the waitress became my co-conspirator in paying for the bill, and she had meal suggestions for us that were great as well as wines. I... More

We just stopped in for some wine and cheese on a Sunday late afternoon. Very friendly and attentive staff. Enourmous wine list and great glass list of unique wines. Nice cheese plate to go with it. We have had dinners in the past and think the food is great, too.

The food is wonderful, particularly the chopped salad and the mushroom pan fry. All dining is inside and tables are fairly close to one another. The service is terrific. It is a must visit restaurant every time I'm in Scottsdale because of the unusual, delicious food.

We dine out a lot. We had, HANDS DOWN, the worst server we have ever had anywhere at Cowboy Ciao last night. I have no idea how this woman was ever hired, but she was terrible. That being said, I imagine that every restaurant has probably had their share of bad servers. This is understandable and certainly forgivable, and we... More

The only good thing was walking in the door and after doing that everything went downhill. At our table one of our beautiful expensively dressed females was drenched with two glasses of iced water when the waitress accidently poured them on her. She got her entire left side wet along with her coat that was hanging on her chair. As... More

After a decade, I still love the look and feel of Cowboy Ciao in Scottsdale. What's still superb here: "the Stetson chopped salad" and the wine list. What's no longer great (in general): the service. No one offered us more drinks or even refills of what we already had. Also disappointing: items on "the Bruschetta duet" were neither fresh nor... More

I felt a little mixed after reading some reviews. I was surprised at how great the meal was. Exceptional service." Ray of Light" was our waiter. He was wonderful. Very helpful and pleasant. Great recommendations and quite knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Our party had the shrimp and scallop appetizers. They were outstanding. The Stetson salad was great.... More

WE went to COWBOY CIAO after walking around OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE.THE restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, the service was very good, the food and drinks were also very good.the menu is diverse, buffalo, etc.plus steaks, salads, etc. The menu is a bit pricy, but you get your moneys worth.IT was a pleasant dining experience, and we will be back next year.
