We have eaten at Cowboy Ciao several times and the food is always good but this was our first wine dinner there. Unlike most wine dinners this was a challenge between the owner and a master sommelier Emmanuel Kemiji. We were presented with 2 wines with each delicious course and asked which wine went better with the food. Only after... More

Food and service was good but food was not equal to prices being charged. I had the shortribs which were very good but my potatoes were lukewarm and the brussel sprouts had a slightly old taste. My dining partner didn't like anything on his plate and found all the portions on the menu too large. Wine was excellent. Generally, found... More

Everything, including our wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable waiter, was perfect. The Cowboy Ciao salad is freakily delicious. Scallops were the biggest I've seen, with incredible flavour. Fantastic wine menu. Ask for seat window. To the untrained, my partner may look fed-up, but that is actually his happy, slightly tipsy face.

I had eaten here previously and had high expectations and they were met. On a business dinner and two of us ordered the Allen Brothers 16 ounce strip steak. For starters we had the nut encrusted sauteed sea scallops and they were outstanding. Then we had the famous Cowboy Ciao salad and the dressing was simply outstanding. Then came the... More

Four of us dined here and each was very satisfied with the food and wine selections. Go to their website to review the menu options - not enough space to discuss the details. Suffice it to say that everything was creatively prepared and beautifully presented. Cooked to order and very tasty. Wine was great and four of us went through... More

I love this restaurant and I have always tried something different on each visit and have never come away disappointed. The place is eclectic, with a great vibe and busy atmosphere. The service is quite good and the people are all very helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable. We found free parking nearby in a lot just down the street diagonally... More

The chopped salad has been a favourite of mine for years and every time you go back, it never lets you down. I am vegi so to be honest - you really need 2 to fill you up. Oh what a dilemma!

Cowboy Ciao is a great place to go if you're looking for creativity and variety in a nice dinner. Everything on the menu seemed completely original - you can tell the chef has a great time coming up with the menu. The wine list is (as it acknowledges) nearly hilarious in it's scope, possibly the most impressive I've ever seen.... More

I wish this place was closer to us! I read the reviews, which said we shouldn't miss the Stetson salad. So the four of us split it for an appetizer -- OMG! Next time I may just get that! (Have it with the smoked salmon.) All of us LOVED our meals. There is a wine list that is crazy-long --... More
