Dinner at an Old Scottsdale restaurant

Great food but very noisy ambiance. Do not go here if you are looking for an intimate, romantic, quiet place, it is just too noisy. Server was trying to be attentive but appeared to have way too many tables to attend to. I don't know if that is an unusual situation or not.

Great location in heart of old town Scottsdale. Like most every restaurant down there, the prices for each chef's "vision" are inflated. The menu is mostly well thought out if not always executed very consistently. Wine selection and recommendations are usually self congratulatory and too often mismatched. Usually good food and a nice upscale, cowboy vibe. Service can also be... More

Eclectic menu and comfy surroundings make this a unique and friendly dining experience. Try these folks out if brownies with bacon sounds interesting enough to try :-)

Went for lunch. Realized that meal prices definitely go up for the dinner hour. However, the quality and taste was there so if you go for either meal, I doubt you would be disappointed. The flavours are eclectic and perfect. You can definitely tell that someone put love into the recipes. Would go back when in the area again.

My better half brought me to this, her favorite restaurant. She's been talking about it for weeks! OMG...food & wine of the gods. The flavors in every dish are well-measured. The '10 Gamble Family red blend opened up nicely as the meal went on. The Stetson chopped salad is a must... great flavor and texture with filling density. I had... More

I'm a picky eater that leans towards more unhealthy food, but this place was super yummy with healthy plates & very knowledgeable staff.

Quick summary - appetizers and Stetson salad were good but you needed a hack saw to cut the NY steak. I was there on a business dinner and the server was good - recommended a lot of appetizers and the salad which were good. Our entrees left a lot to be desired. We complained about how tough the steak was... More

They have a wide selection of gourmet redneck food. We ordered and sampled 4-5 different entrees and deserts. All excellent in their individual taste focus. Presentations modern. Cucumber cocktail tasty and of reasonable quality but others had mixed reviews of quality. The waiter was outgoing in his menu suggestions, but didn't connect well with dinners. He was more task-oriented, versus... More

The best chopped salad I have ever had. The best salmon I have ever had. My husband loved the pork chops and orders it almost every time. Makes it difficult to recommend any thing else, however, it all has to be good based on the quality of our usual order. The dining room is small and intimate. When we go... More

I've been to this restaurant a couple times. I love the Cowboy Ciao salad. It is so good. Heaven on a plate. I get the salmon option and add avocado. The combination of flavors on one plate is just wonderful.
