First time there - loved the old school atmosphere and delicious sundaes. This last visit - about 2 weeks ago was less than one star. The place smelled moldy and old and the chocolate malt I ordered was so bad I had 4 sips and just let it go... I love ice cream and how hard is a good -... More

We like to take the family here for an ice cream Sunday or a couple of scoops of ice cream. We have never ordered food, so can't comment on that. It is hard to park near by, on a Friday or Saturday night, so we recommend you go on Sunday - Thursday evenings. Kind of has a dinner atmosphere and... More

First we had pizza then desert. We made the right choice! My banana split was great and everyone else raved about their selection. This was the kids favorite desert of the trip.

This is old school soda fountain style - with Family Circus yellowing cartoons signed by cash register. Good menu - soups, etc but its the ice cream and reasonable price cones that keep me coming back. Usually busy - in Summer a cool treat.

This place has something for everyone. It does have some "real" food but the star here is the ice cream menu. They have everything from just a scoop of homemade ice cream to over the top sundaes. We had to try the sundaes and were glad we did. I had a chocolate malt sundae and my husband had a brownie... More

If you need a taste of nostalgia, stop at the Sugar Bowl for a nosh and an ice cream treat. Authentic down to the dishes! So quaint and fun and yummy too! We had BLT sandwich. Comes with crispy chips and a pickle wedge. Very good. Shared a banana split (two of us) and a Mocha soda. Yum yum. After... More

We took my kids 2 and 4 for ice cream. The atmosphere was charming and the ice cream was good. What was really disappointing was the little arcade. Half the games were broken and the prizes for the tickets were awful. They might as well not bother with this and stick to the food.

Has been there since the 1950's and is charming. Like the old time ice cream parlors of long ago. There was even a separate room for the kids and the young at heart . To play old time pi ball and many other games. The staff were mostly teenagers and 20's. They were efficient and friendly!

Went here as this place has so much history and thought it would be a great treat on a hot day during our vacation. Instead I regret even going at all. The whole place smelled terrible like old dish rags and hot trash. The staff was lazily standing around chatting - no warm hello's, no offer to seat you, no... More
