Has been there since the 1950's and is charming. Like the old time ice cream parlors of long ago. There was even a separate room for the kids and the young at heart . To play old time pi ball and many other games. The staff were mostly teenagers and 20's. They were efficient and friendly!

Went here as this place has so much history and thought it would be a great treat on a hot day during our vacation. Instead I regret even going at all. The whole place smelled terrible like old dish rags and hot trash. The staff was lazily standing around chatting - no warm hello's, no offer to seat you, no... More

This was a decent place. We went because of the history of the area and the novelty of saying, "I've been there!" Our server was great and cared for our son's Red40 allergy very cautiously. The ice cream is the Breyer's Restaurant Blend, so it is creamy and good but it's still just ice cream. There are a few arcade-type... More

My wife and I have been here several times, generally early evening. We have always had great service and enjoy people watching in the diner. Yes, it is called the Sugar Bowl and their main fair is ice cream but they also sell diner type food. With that said, we have never seen anyone getting anything but ice cream or... More

Dirty, had to constantly find service, old and sad....needs renovation. Games in back lacked tickets...again had to chase someone down. WHY BOTHER! There are so many other places that make fantastic ice cream, are clean and are up to date!

Between the Golden Nugget and the Buster Brownie, there was a lot of sighs of happiness coming from our table. The Golden Nugget was a light orangesicle in a shake and the Buster Brownie was just...scrumptious.

We all had sundaes and enjoyed them very much. I am sure this place looked very much the same in the 50's or 60's and it seems pretty well kept given its age. We had a wonderful waitress.

We stopped in for ice cream before heading back to our hotel. Nice and friendly service and good ice cream. It could have been a little cleaner is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Prices are very reasonable and it's an old fashioned ice cream parlor which is fun.

This little pink shop sits on one of the busy corners in Old Town Scottsdale. It is easy to spot and even easier to find your ice cream heaven inside. When the grandkids saw that we were headed toward the "Pink Store" (their name for it), they immediately started calling out their orders to us...."Green ice cream" (mint chocolate chip)... More

We are on vacation in Scottsdale in May. Temperature is 105°. We checked out the menu and decided to split a walnut - fudge Sundae with Vanilla ice cream. We weren't disappointed. We were very pleased with our Sundae. Great service! They brought us about 4 glasses of water as we must have looked a little dehydrated from walking around... More
