Sat at the bar and enjoyed a great combination plate with crispy taco, beef tamale and chicken enchilada. Beans and rice were fine but the salsa was great and two different choices in fun plastic carafes.

One of the oldest Mexican restaurants. Food was excellent. Service was attentive. The Margaritas were the best I have ever had!

With ticket to the Scottsdale Art Performance Center, we found Los Olivos the perfect location to attend the venue, less than 1/2 block away. PLUS free covered parking a similar distance and perfect if going to Old Town.On recommendations of others at T/A, we and another couple were impressed by the food and staff here. It was a weekday night,... More

The food was really good and that matters most I guess. When we entered, there was no one to greet us so we waited a bit and a man who must have been the manager greeted us and told us it would be just a minute that he would find the host and be right back... A younger man appeared... More

I see many reviews quote a pricey meal, but the lunch specials are also quite delicious and budgetable. We also had dinner. Wonderful buidling, and vibrant energy, as another reviewer mentioned. Go. You will enjoy.

Have been coming to this family owned and operated restaurant since the 1960's! Hands down the best cheese crisp, sour cream enchiladas, and chimichangas. Great location in Old Town for visitors to take advantage of food and genuine care of staff. Inexpensive, delicious, and always good.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening with out-of-town guests. It was incredibly busy and had a very vibrant energy. I ordered the enchiladas and they were delicious. I don't think you could order anything and have it be bad - very authentic! I would definitely recommend reservations on a weekend night, and the parking in Old Town is horrible... More

This is the second time that my husband and I have been to Los Olivos and we were pleased for a second time! It is easy to find so so Mexican food in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area however, this in not one of those places. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant; the service very attentive and helpful; and the food was... More

our group visited Los Olivos based on the recommendation of our tour guide. The restaurant was somewhat reminiscent of a Mexican Cantina. The southwest charm was represented by colourful decor, family photos, and a relaxed slow-paced atmosphere. The margaritas were excellent and the food tasty. Our only regret was that we could not finish the large-sized portion of our entree.... More
