J&G Steakhouse offers a sophisticated collection of steakhouse classics as interpreted by Michelin-starred chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Located atop The Phoenician, the restaurant is draped in a rich palate of purple and gold with a modern, stylish flair. Diners will enjoy dramatic sunsets and views of the Valley while dining on premium meats and a global selection of fish. The bill of fare is complemented by fresh, local ingredients and worldly spices, masterfully executed by Chef de Cuisine Jacques Qualin.

It is a really special place on our patio when the weather is agreeable and fireworks are going off around the Valley to celebrate something: New Year's, 4th of July, an ASU touchdown!). We really appreciate you posting a recap of your dining experience, and we hope to see you again soon (even if you are not staying at the... More

Truly a great place! Infact the saving grace behind this very dated hotel which is in much need of a remodel. This restaurant was on point!! From the service, to the ambiance, to the wine list, fabulous. Expensive Yes! but truly a wonderful dinner was had here. The menu offered something for everyone (even non meat eaters) , wonderful combination... More

Thank you for your enthusiastic post. We are delighted that you think we merited it! I personally like the La Madrid very much because it has more of an "earthy" approach more than "fruit forward" approach, but we have many different styles of wines for different palates. (By the way, the hotel is scheduled for a major rooms renovation this... More

This restaurant used to have a location at the W hotel in DC. Loved it even though you had to negotiate through the euro-trash scene in the lobby. So when we discovered it was just down the from where we were staying, we had to go. The setting at the top of The Phoenician is perfect for J&G. Is this... More

We shalt not forsake Thee. Thank you for coming in and we are very happy that you enjoyed your dinner. I, too, think that the hot buttery sauce on the filet is really really good. We hope to see you again when you are back in town! More

I had the tasting menu which was delicious. The server recommended that I pair parts of the tasting menu with each other so that my dinner would not be timed behind my companions. This was fine until there were two hot items served at the same time. Don't allow them to serve you the "entrees" together or one will be... More

This restaurant replaced our favorite Madeleine Restaurant which has beautiful view of Scottsdale at night. Over all food was good, but not the same as Madeleine which was more fine dining and creative.

Thank you taking the time to tell people about your experience with us at J&G Steakhouse. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your evening. I never had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant that preceded us in this space. However, our team has worked hard over the past seven years to provide a friendly, upbeat, contemporary environment where... More

Organized a fine dining evening with a group of friends and J&G was one of the best option for that. Excellent raw fish appetizers, excellent meat and good wine even though a bit pricey for what they are in some cases. Still found a good Saint Julien for $69 which was way more reasonable than the other Bordeaux.

We had read that the view from this restaurant was really quite wonderful (and there was a lightening storm the evening that we dined there, which made the view even more desirable), but that the food and the service could be uneven. We were three couples for dinner and the table was arranged so that all the wives faced the... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to recap your dinner experience with us. We are very happy that you enjoyed the food, the wine, the service and the ambiance (and the beauty of our Arizona lightning). The entire team works hard every day to improve themselves and the restaurant, and we thank you for your recognition. More

Check to see if you can dine on the terrace. Nice view overlooking the pool from the 5th floor. You can make a meal on appetizers, but good quality steaks.
