We dined here as guests, the reservations having been made by out-of-towners who based their selection on a variety of reviews. As locals, we would not return. The food was fine--a very nice selection of steaks, plus chicken and fish. Salads were probably resort-guest friendly, as there was nothing that spoke of creativity. Side dishes were similarly "safe". The wine... More

We enjoyed the bone in fillet and it was excellent. Others had Grouper...very good. The service and atmosphere great. Have dinner in the evening when the sun is setting and bring a camera....beautiful view.

My steak was very good, but $10 for a baked potato seems a bit exorbitant (and I don't usually notice these things). It would be difficult to get out of there for less than $100 a person (with wine and tip). It seems they train staff, and engineer menu and wine list, to make sure your tab is as high... More

The food at J & G was excellent. Try the butternut squash soup for an excellent appetizer. All entrees we ordered were very well prepared and delicious. If ordering steak, be sure to explain how you want it prepared. Their medium-rare is a cold center for example. Great place for a special occasion. The city light views are amazing.

I went there for Thanksgiving. The food was good and the service great. The only thing was that my friend is in a wheelchair and we were somehow put out of the way in a room that seemed like an old banquet room and was filled with children. It seemed like it was more suitable for families. Where we were... More

I went there for a couple meals. Truly enjoyed the food. Service perfect, food equaled the service. Even though I was by myself, I felt like I was well attended.

Arrived unannounced with a colleague, and were sat in the bar area: similar seating, and the same menu. We were underneath an aircon outlet, and moved as we were getting a little cold, but no other complaints at all. The service was excellent, the food also. We had: - lobster - fillet mignon - t-bone steak My t-bone was excellent,... More

This Steakhouse is located in the beautiful Phoenician Resort. This restaurant is a steak house and more featuring some foods laced with mildly Asian Flavors. The two plates we had that Blew me away were the delicious Tuna Tartare and the scrumptious Black Truffle Cheese Fritters. These are MUST get plates! I can't always eat raw tuna and my husband... The view was absolutely stunning; we went at 5:30 as the sun was setting in brilliant pinks against the rocky landscape. The steak was delicious. And best of all, when my son found his chosen entree "too chewy", the maitre de was so kind; he took my son seriously and very generously had a tender piece of filet brought out.
