Description: From the Siri Group, a family business that owns and operates four highly acclaimed restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area; the original Sweet Basil Thai Restaurant, Basil Thai Restaurant and Bar, Basil Canteen and Soi Four Bangkok Eatery is proud to bring our newest addition Soi Four Bangkok Eatery to Scottsdale. "Soi" is a Thai word for side streets or alleyways that, together, form the essential lifeline that makes up the fabric of Bangkok city. Like the city, our menu is a modern take on the traditional through the use of fresh local ingredients, sustainable practice, and creative approach to authentic Thai dishes. At Soi 4, we also offer Thai inspired artisanal cocktails and a wide variety of local and imported beers. ….influenced, accented, tinged, anything but "fusion'. We like to see it as a beginning of something interesting. Chai yo – Cheers!

First impressions upon entering a restaurant set the mood and may determine if we'll come back. In this case, we won’t. It was mid-week lunch hour, and we thought we’d give this Thai restaurant in Gainey Village a try. Our first impression was dark and empty, with rows of metal tabletops. No one greeted us upon entering. A few men... More

Thai food done with a modern delicious touch.Starting with the soft shell crab in papaya salad egg roll and radish cake for appetizers, chilean seabass in mango sauce for entre, steak in tasty curry sauce, to the fried banana with coconut ice cream. It was a very delightful dinner indeed in a nice modern restaurant.

We ate here on the recommendation of staff at the Hyatt a couple of blocks away. Soi4 has great ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable service, and outstanding food. Well worth the short walk from the Hyatt!

We had a very enjoyable dinner. After thaifoon closed, we had no good high end Thai restaurant in our area. Now we do. Soi4 was excellent! Thai food is one of my favorites, but usually I'm ok with inexpensive eats. More expensive Thai food can be anathema. However, really good Thai food can well worth the cost, but not always.... More

This Thai restaurant does NOT belong in third place among Thai's. The appetizer recommended by the waiter (banana leaf/coconut/shrimp) was outstanding and we don't even like coconut! The main dishes were the best Thai we've ever had. The atmosphere is awesome for a Thai restaurant. This is a MUST try.

This was our third visit to Soi Four and was very enjoyable again. As usual we ordered a selection of appetizers for our meal. Every dish is prepared to order and have distinct flavors appropriate to the ingredients. The mustard leaf wraps were not quite as good as our previous visits, it seemed as if something was missing, not sure.... More

A great place to relax and enjoy great Thai food. Our dinner was made up of several selections from their appetizers ( you can't go wrong ). Just a few favorites ...Mustard Leaf Wraps with shrimp, coconut and cashews with a sweet/sour sauce, or the pork stuffed fried dumpling. Top that off crab fried rice with pineapple and you have... Fantastic dinner at Soi 4 in Scottsdale. The menu features some very creative items (crab fried rice & pineapple fried rice, star anise braised tofu, prawns and pumpkin in tangy red curry) and there were many appealing options. All the items we had were perfectly flavored and seasoned - absolutely delicious. We had gai satay as an appetizer, and the... More

Soi Four has turned out to be the best Thai Restaurant you can find in the valley. The menu is not dumbed-down & will appeal to those with an experienced palate. Another plus is that they actually use Thai chili instead of jalapeno peppers. Ask for the condiment tray for Thai Fish Sauce (Nam Plah) & bird chilis.... then try... More
