We went to Citizen Public House for the first time during restaurant week. It was a great deal and the majority of the food was very good. However, it was so loud that I left with a sore throat. Bread pudding needs some type of sauce. Although cake was moist, overall dish was dry. Chopped salad (from my favorite restaurant)... More

I really wanted to love this place. I will say the food was good. But it was impossible to enjoy. The restaurant was SO LOUD you couldn't hear the person NEXT to you you let alone across the table. We really just had to "eat it and beat it"...didn't bother with dessert, because we couldn't stay there for even one... More

Some co-workers and I stopped by for a drink and appetizer after work. It was happy hour, so no complaints on the 1/2 off my glass of cab! We also had the fondue appetizer, it was really good. The bartender made sure we were taken care of. Very nice experience, next time I'm back in Scottsdale, would love to have... More

The chopped salad (I substituted chicken for the salmon) was delicious and I wish I could have eaten it every day. Stopped in after a Diamondback/Dodger game on our way back to the Westin Kierland Villas. Large portion, so took some "to go" and was very good the next day for lunch!

My husband and I had dinner there last week, it was nice, a little pricey but nice. We shared the crab cakes (delicious) as an appetizer. Then, he had the meat loaf, which was just ok, nothing spectacular, and I had the short ribs, they were amazing! We did not save room for dessert but we bought the bacon pecan... More

What an amazing experience!!! We started off with some very interesting cocktails....my favorite was the Sazerac. Appetizers - I had Gazpacho Verde which was so unique with the mussel "topping". My wife thoroughly enjoyed the creamy, almost buttery Buratta. Entrees - my wife ordered Amaro Meatloaf - truly comfort food with a rich mushroom cream sauce. I chose Bacon wrapped... More

We tried to stop here for Happy Hour but that was a non-starter. The bar area was completely packed. So we hit other places and came back later. It was even more crowded. Happily we found the last 2 seats at the bar. The bartender, Thomas, was knowledgeable and friendly. Although he was busy, our seats put us next to... More

The food is fabulous, the mixed drinks are fantastic, but the STAFF is what makes this the most splendid dining experience I ever had in Arizona. There's Stacy greeting me on the phone and Owen welcoming me back at the front door; Alex and David smiling while running the plates and glasses; Elijah supporting Brandon the remarkable Mix Master shaking... I ate here two years ago and promised myself a return visit. Located right in downtown, it's a block a way from the waterfront. Parking is fairly easy if you park in the mall garage and walk the two blocks. I think this is the best place to eat in Scottsdale. The atmosphere is great and the menu is eclectic... More

The staff made this an excellent experience. Dinner was an experience not to be forgotten. Starting with the chopped salad, followed by the ribs and scallops. Can't wait to return !
