This place still rocks

My second visit here. It's been a while and I was hoping that the quality was still there. I went for an early dinner with a biz colleague and wanted to get her out of the hotel and to see some Scottsdale sights. The chopped salad lives up to the hype -- very good and just right portions. We also... read more

CPH is really a bar scene that has dining tables to view the bar scene. We had met friends we hadn't seen in a long time and pretty much had to forget about having a conversation, even after moving tables once. Food was above average. Service was very good. Go for the bar scene.

This is a really good foodie restaurant in downtown Scottsdale. The food is definitely creative American. Good bar selection.

A diamond in the rough. Photos of the inside don't do the ambiance and good vibe of this place justice! The restaurant was packed and the bar was full nearly the entire time we were there. We enjoyed the winter menu...the hubs ordered the meatloaf and it was magical...I don't even LIKE meatloaf and I asked for multiple bites. So... More

We decided to try Citizens because of the many positive reviews we've read. Our close friends are Yelp Elite Member's so when we traveled with them on this trip they also read the great reviews prior to arriving to Arizona and suggested we give them a try. So glad we did , the crab cakes as an appetizer was a... More

Seems to be a pretty popular place These days :-) If you Show up for dinner without Reservation -Forget it. The scallops are a true Highlight, the Meatloaf is huge & tasty, the lamb rack as well- you schould be hungry. Food Quality & presentation is top notch- but above all I have to Highlight the waiter who made it... More

Our group of ten had an excellent dinner sharing the restaurant's specialties - chop salads and the pork belly pastrami appetizer. followed by a variety of entrees from the eclectic menu. The staff was professional and attentive. I highly recommend their version of Branzino. The wine was extensive as was there selection of bourbons.

In Old Town Scottsdale. Nice ambiance. Street parking available. quickly seated for our 7:15 pm reserevation. Attentive and quick service. Three friends for dinner. One had two appetizers: Roasted Cauliflower salad with a hint of orange. Beautifully presented and unusual and delicious. Followed by Roasted Butternut squash. Again, lovely and yummy. One had Bacon Mac and Cheese: huge portion for... More

We sat at the bar and immediately had waters and menus. The bartender was extremely attentive. We had the famous Original Chopped Salad and were not disappointed. It was out of this world! Great atmosphere, super friendly staff - great location. Go there, you'll like it!

The street view isn't all that inviting, but once you step inside you forget where you are. The interior is warm and elegant. This really isn't a gastropub. I suppose it is described as such because the bar is the central feature of the restaurant. The service is excellent. Our waitress offered great suggestions and was attentive without being intrusive.... More
