Good Food, Service, Prices

We very much enjoyed our experience, in which we split three small dishes and one large one, at this intimate spot in downtown Scottsdale.

Love the food and the variety of the menu. If you are younger and like activity and loud music and blaring TVs super place. If noise gets to you go for lunch or dinner but avoid Friday and the weekend. Good views of the activities of Old Town off Scottsdale Rd. Superb bar with attractive and attentive wait staff.

Someone we respected from Phoenix recommended this as the place to eat in Scottsdale, so we gave it a try after his advice that a reservation far in advance may be required. Although not fancy by the standards of those who care more about plating than taste, this evening's fare was marvelous. The lamb and the swordfish were delectable, but... More

Delicious, innovative food. Lots of small plates to share and a few entrees if you want to order a bigger meal. Great service, nice environment. Their signature dessert was butterscotch pudding with whip cream, normally not my cup of tea, but it was fabulous -- creamy, caramel-y -- yum!

Gave this a try because it was given such good recommendations on Trip Advisor. Lesson here is to find a reviewer you trust before making decision. Food was average at best, and service was worse. A fish selection was severely undercooked, and a chicken selection was tasteless. At least they had the smarts to take the fish off the bill... More

We had saved this restaurant for a special night out after reading the many reviews and were not disappointed. Since this was our first time the waitress took time to explain the menu and suggested we might want to share a few different choices which definitely is the way to go. Thought the broccoli was outstanding and the duck pate... More

Our first experience at FnB was with a really rude host - when we asked if we could sit outside he acted like that was reserved for celebrity VIPs and how could we possibly have been so stupid to ask that question. So we sat inside. We had a really dappy waitress who didn't offer that much info about the... More

I am not sure what all was in my sandwich. However, it was an amazing combination of fresh flavors and chicken. My wife and I are always on the look out for flavorful way to combine healthy ingredients and this place was a pleasant surprise. So often when eating out, one encounters too much salt and fat, not here though.... More

This restaurant receives high reviews from both Tripadvisor and Yelp. However, I did not like the food. Ok, 4 stars. Why 4 stars? The waiter was attentive and took off the charge for the chicken. Also, wife says to be nice:) She said not to leave low rating......In general, my opinion is that this restaurant tries hard to be different... More

FnB had a delicious, varied menu using lots of fresh local ingredients. The appetizers are great to share: we got the beet and blood orange salad which was amazing, followind by Swiss Chard Falafel. There was a delicious bean appetizer and the most amazing chicken spring rolls I've ever had. Every item we ordered was delicious and had such interesting... More
