We were celebrating a birthday at our table last night, sharing starters, vegies and entrees. The inspired combinations of foods in the watermelon, beet, and unusual greens was delicious. We each had a different entrée. The halibut was so light and delicate. The pasta dish with bacon was my favorite. The wait staff is super knowledgeable about the wine list... More

This is an excellent restaurant. The dishes are unique combinations of lots of different ingredients, but well assembled. They really know Arizona wines, you are safe with their recommendations. The spices and sauces are often quite rich and the portions quite large. So you may want to ask the server about the portion sizes, and decide to split some rather... More

At 6:30 in a Monday night we decided to venture out of our hotel on a whim that we might get a table at Fnb...and we did! The service was perfect and the food was very good. Always a pleasure to eat fresh food, tastefully prepared, and pleasantly served. Oh! And the butterscotch pudding was superb!!!

This is a small restaurant, reservations essential, that focusses on local foods. The heirloom tomato salad was outstanding and so large that my wife and I shared it (as suggested by our server). A bit crowded but we ignored that and focussed on the food.

I arrived with my elderly mother and were seated promptly. The host was a friendly fellow who showed a willingness to accommodate. Our server came to explain the unusual menu and the wine list which included quite a few Arizona wines that she insisted were quite good. I'd lived in Arizona for ten years and not once had I tried... More

Make a reservation, or you will likely not get in. Enjoy the patio. Start with a cocktail. Linger over the unique appetizers and entrees. Delight in the owner/manager's engaging personality, explanations and energy. Savour the sharing of the wonderful food. Get a recommendation and enjoy a reasonably priced bottle of wine with your meal. One of the best meals and experiences... More

The food was very fresh and there were lots of great vegetable dishes--not vegetarian, but vegetable focused. The menu changes often and always features seasonal produce

You have to plan ahead most nights to get a reservation to eat here, but it's worth the effort! The restaurant is small and intimate, with friendly staff and an inspired chef. We have eaten here a number of times and this last time, we let the owner chose which four of the small plates we should have -- specifying... More

We very much enjoyed our experience, in which we split three small dishes and one large one, at this intimate spot in downtown Scottsdale.
