Service was superb. We started in the front patio and they moved an awning for us, then we found there was more shade in the back, so we went there. Extended menu, good food. I am not a fan of pressed coffee but that is all they had, so that is what I had.

We visited The Mission restaurant for the 3rd time last night, and each time the place has diminished, in our estimation, and so we will probably not go there again. There's pretentious-hip air to the place, tables are too close, room echoes noises and voices, food (except for salads) comes in small portions and, frankly, the fancy tacos were hardly... More

A few people recommended The Mission to us and I'm so happy we squeezed into our short visit to the area. First off the service was phenomenal. Our server took her time in explaining the concept of the food items and checked back with us several times. Genuinely nice. On to the food, the menu has a lot of information... More

Ugh didn't care for this one but the experience was nice. We were a party of 4 sitting out in the misted patio. The table side guacamole was great, however their signature margaritas were nothing to write home about. The menu was confusing although the wait staff was helpful. The food was good, but if I want art on my... More

We eat here every time we are in Scottsdale. This visit to Scottsdale we went twice, we love this place so much. Food cannot be beat, portions not the biggest but the quality of the food is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful and love the ambiance. We will be back!

First time here. The place was almost packed at 6pm. We started with the made at your table guacamole. For refreshment, we each had a different kind of margarita. The one I had was full of fresh squeezed lime juice and was very good. For dinner we had chicken and beef tacos. They are served on a plate of three... More

We vacation in Scottsdale every year and had never tried here - and you bet we will be back next year! We arrived just before 5pm so had the table side guacamole (a must!) and a few drinks before ordering from the dinner menu that is available from 5pm onwards. It was difficult to choose as ever dish sounded appealing.... More

Awesome atmosphere and wonderful food - think Mexican/Latin fusion. The guacamole prepared at the table was our daughter's favorite. I had the salmon - delicious! Service was great as well. This is a small restaurant so I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends. Since we visited in the summer we didn't eat outside, but they do have a... More

During a recent stay in Scottsdale, I visited The Mission for dinner. This is obviously a very popular restaurant as it was "standing room only" in the waiting area/bar. I wouldn't try visiting without a reservation. Luckily the Concierge at our hotel made dinner reservations on our behalf. There was a nice little patio area out front. Not being from... More

Great food & cocktails. While we waited for our table a server brought us samples of different cocktails which I thought was a nice touch. We sat outside in the back, which wasn't as crowded. Inside was very crowded & a little claustrophobic. It had a beautiful atmosphere (the weather didn't hurt either). Our server was very knowledgable & prompt... More
