Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.

Amazing restaurant!

My wife booked us on the Arizona Food Tour and The Mission was excellent about accommodating us as a large group. They served us their house made chips and salsa to start. I must admit that I read all reviews in tripadvisor and decided on my own to eat here. I am a true foodie and a follower of trip advisor while traveling Should have listened to the previous reviews that shared this place is Pushy and the Manager was Rude. This is one true statement. Will admit they served me a... More

Just back and have survived only just and thanks to some off the good food offered in Scotsdale. This place has good food and if you are a european go as its one of the best inn the city. You still have to order with caution and insist on plane grilling etc and stipulate no sauce but get beyond that... More

We were there for lunch and were disappointed to learn some of the menu items we read about on Yelp were only available for dinner. We did order from the limited lunch menu and were happy with our selections. Our server went out of her way helping us.

This was originally a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed! We go to The Mission every time we are in Scottsdale. It's ecclectic Latin menu and comfortable atmosphere makes it a great place for appetizers or dinner. Make sure to make reservations...it is packed every time we have been there. The staff is amazing and service is... More

Some of the most memorable Mexican food we have tasted. The fresh guacamole, made tableside, is a must!

This is what the manager said when I wasn't pleased with the food, and he stormed off. We carefully chose this place to be our best Mexican food experience in Scotsdale. We didn't complain to the server, because it's not her fault for one, and the service and drinks were great. Maybe it was because we sent our plates back... More

Everything is fabulous, from cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts. I have been several times and every time has been exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant when you are anywhere near Scottsdale.

Very well presented and cooked food, portion sizes reasonable - not too large. Good range of menu items and a focus on seafood and pork. The pulled pork tacos were very good. A bit pricey for what it is but very classy. Very dark restaurant - I needed a flashlight to see th emenu.

Went to this restaurant knowing it was expensive. Wanted some Mexican food so thought we would give it a shot. If you want what most people consider Mexican food - don't go. It is not even close to what you would expect. Drinks start around $10, very dark inside the restaurant but they do have two outside seating places that... More
