Posh is billed as improvisational cuisine. The premise is that the diner selects the fish and meat options he likes and crosses off from the list what he won't eat. There is room at the bottom for the diner to write notes re: allergies and other items not desired. Then sit back and wait to see what the chef creates.... More

Okay, it doesn't get any better than Posh. Period. You get a little "menu" where you can see a sampling of ingredients that they might use and you can mark off anything that you're not willing to try. You also make note of any particular aversions and/or allergies. After that...it's in the hands of the chefs. They make what they... More

My husband made reservations for the two of us a month in advance, so you think that we'd get an excellent seat when we walked in. When we gave them our name, the hostess sat us at a tiny table right next to the front door, which isn't even part of the restaurant. Seeing as it was our first time... More

We didn't know what to expect when we arrived! We made a reservation for valentines day about a month in advance. A few days before the reservation, my husband got a courtesy call offering directions and reminding us to be on time since it's valentines day. It proved to be very helpful in finding the place. We were seated promptly... More

This restaurant has such a great concept with improvisational cuisine. We chose to sit at the counter, and dine early. We had 7 courses, with wine. After making our selections, noting dietary restrictions, meat temp preference, and the addition of the fois gras course, we were ready for our first course. It was fun to watch the executive chef literally... More

Four of us enjoyed a very unique experience with good food at Posh. We had the five course dinner with wine pairing and found it all very good along with very good service and a knowledgeable waiter. We would highly recommend for foodies and those who don't mind paying for a unique experience.

From light to heavy so to speak - let me start with the less negative points here and then touch some of the severe ones. My intention undoubtedly is to inform future clients about a potential culinary experience but also somewhat to release a bit of accumulated frustration. It was our first time at this improvisational cuisine. We came to... More

We went for the first time with another couple who had more food hang ups than the average person. They crossed off a lot from the list and had several significant restrictions. With trepidation, first course arrived. Wow- they were pleased. All courses were delicious, unique but not too scary. They can't wait to go again. And neither can we.

My husband and I went to posh for restaurant week. I had the 4 course tasting menu and for an extra $10 my husband had the 5 course. The waiter explained how to fill out our menu card, any allergies or food dislikes. Since we like to try different things, we didn't indicate anything which gave the chef carte blanche.... More

We enter a stark - but nicely lit restaurant and are seated at the last table in the corner - which was great - private and less noisy. The waitress was great and very knowledgeably about the cocktails... We then look at the menu which I loved... Cross off what you don't want and write on the lines below what... More
