Looking for "Mexican food"? Stop. Just stop. This isn't your place. BA isn't about Mexican. It's NEW Mexican. Don't know the difference? Try it and learn!!! I'll admit, I never thought about it until BA. I had a 2-year stint of frequent trips to north Scottsdale for my job. If BA had a meal plan... Whatever you order you can't... More

I wanted to taste southwest cuisine and we arrived at Blue Adobe and my friends and I were not disappointed. The food and service could not be beat. Our server was very helpful with the menu selections. The stacked enchalidas (layered like lasagna) with chicken and sides of rice, beans and Christmas Chili was flavorable and with each bite was... We just returned from our trip to Maui, HI and had to get back to one of our favorite local Scottsdale restaurants, The Blue Adobe Grill. We have been visiting Blue Adobe for several years now and it just continues to get better. The New Mexico cuisine is always just right, service is friendly and attentive, the meal a great... More

Can't say enough about the great tasting Mexican food at this restaurant. My husband loves the stuffed chicken breast and I love the Chimichiladas. It's hard to try something new because we love these dishes so much. Love the weekend entertainment with guys strumming their guitars. Always a good time and great food at this restaurant.

You know how you'll find a great restaurant and can't wait to go back, only to find out that it doesn't come close to living up to your expectations? Not the case here! I wrote a review of the Blue Adobe Grille in October 2011, calling it the best meal I'd had in Phoenix, and promising to return on my... More

Dined here in February and returned mainly because of the great Moscow Mule. That didn't disappoint and neither did the wonderful guacamole. One diner had the salmon blt and raved about it. The Chop salad was nothing like a taco salad as they claimed. The bottom of the bowl was almost like a bean soup. The salad with spinach and... More

I went to Blue Adobe Grille recently on Cinco de Mayo on a business trip in Scottsdale, AZ, based on some of the reviews I read here and elsewhere. Having traveled many times to both Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico, and having enjoyed eating at places like the Owl Cafe, Sadie's, etc., I was expecting a similar experience. Sadly,... More

Incredible tamales and stacked enchiladas! Visited for lunch while in Scottsdale at a conference. Nice outdoor patio and friendly service.

Stopped here for lunch after a hot hike up Pinnacle Peak. My husband and I split the Cruz Kitchen Signature. More than enough to share. The tenderloin relleno, the carne adovada, and smoked pork tamales were the best ! A definite stop for Mexican style food.
