In the Mastro's tradition. We have dined at the original a mumber of times, always enjoying it. City Hall did not disappoint. Very busy bar with live duo music. We sat inside, nice ambiance. Excellent Dungeness Crab cocktail complete with dry ice for effect. Nice mustard sauce. Great bone-in filet cooked perfectly with excellent creamed corn and creamed spinach. Nice... More

worth it! My steak was cooked to perfection. Make sure you order the mashed potatoes with lobster, although expensive, well worth the price, enough for four people---yummy! Desserts are excellent, try the cake with ice cream-another great choice and enough for four people, also. Martini's are very nice but, very expensive, as in $19 for one. Service was a little... I was here in May and had the absolute best steak of my entire life. I had the filet, cooked medium rare. I also had a salad and the lobster mashed potatoes, followed by dessert. I also had a fantastic vodka martini and shared a bottle of wine with a friend. Every single bite and sip of everything we had... More

Took my family here for my sons birthday. One of his gift requests is to try a top steakhouse in the area we are in. Having been to Berns in Tampa, Gene and Giorgettis in Chicago, and various Chart house's and independent steak houses, the bar is getting pretty high. I would rank this in the top four of all... We don't usually eat at high end steak places, but my wife wanted a good steak, and City Hall was recommended to us by the owner of another Scottsdale restaurant. It was pricey as expected, but the atmosphere, service, and mostly the food were exceptional. My wife ordered an 8 oz. filet, and I ordered a filet and a lobster... More

We had reservations the night after Valentine's day, party of 5. Even though we could barely get through the crowd to the hostess to check in, we were seated on time. Service was patient, friendly and efficient by ALEX, a charming young woman who assisted us with choices of wine and did not make us feel bad or rushed for... More

Went to Mastro's on a "splurge night" while on vacation in Scottsdale. Steaks were fabulous, well-prepared and very tasty. Good iceberg wedge salad with just the right amount of blue cheese dressing. Great wine list, although a little overpriced. Great service made for a great experience.

This is the place to have dinner and be guaranteed a wonderful meal and great service. I had a fantastic double cut pork chop while my husband had the filet. I cannot describe to you the excellence of the pork chop. Salads were fresh. Sides were great. Drinks strong and well prepared. This is hands down one of the best... More

They really know how to do it right, down to the temperature of the plate depending on the way the steak is cooked. Everything was great. Pricing is higher than a typical restaurant, but for a special occasion, a great option. I had the bone-in medium well and it was done to perfection, as were the sides. The wedge salad... More
