Cafe Monarch is a boutique dining establishment in Old Town Scottsdale. Dinner service consists of a price fixe menu with several entree options and an optional wine pairing. Full bar and wine by the bottle also available. The setting is rustic and trendy, the type of place only insiders know about. + Excellent cuisine all dishes expertly prepared with great... More

My Husband and I had a wonderfully romantic dinner at Cafe Monarch recently to celebrate my Birthday. This gem is tucked away on a street in Old Town Scottsdale and is so cute and inviting from the moment you pull up to the parking lot. Upon our arrival we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. Given... More

Love the quaint and Spanish looking decor. It made us feel like we were somewhere in Europe. The food was excellent, very flavorful. They serve a pre-fix menu with several options between meat/fish or vegetarian. I recommend this place for couples, to celebrate anniversaries or birthdays.

This place is four course prix fixe (a good value at $55). Creative, interesting menu. One dinner (only choice was fish or filet entree, the other 3 courses are set) runs for the week. So check out what's for dinner before you go. Lovely setting. Misters in the garden area kept it nice, even for this time of year, but... More

Had booked here a couple of times but something always came up. Finally made it and it was worth the it. I was here with my wife and two 20s sons. Awesome place - old house atmosphere with a great garden area out back. We sat inside beside a window looking out onto the garden. The menu changes so no... More

The menu is fresh and modern. The food preparation and presentation was outstanding. We are hard to impress New Yorkers, and we were blown away. Sit outside, the garden is lovely. W

The patio is truly the place to be! If you arrive early, you may have a table tucked under a tree for maximum privacy. You will feel transported into a fairly tale as darkness descends and the lights twinkle from every nook and cranny. The changing prix fixe menu was wonderful. Pacing during the first two courses was a wee... More

This restaurant is amazing! The patio is so quaint and perfect with its palm tree "walls" and candlelit chandeliers all around. It's the perfect cozy and intimate dining experience! The prefix menu is perfect because all you have to do is show up, no decisions to be made. And all the food is fresh and natural! When we made our... More

This is by far one of the most unique dining experiences I have ever had. A perfect, four course menu that changes weekly for only $55 per person. Add in wine pairings for another $30 or so and you have a truly fine meal for 30% to 40% than most fine dining restaurants. If you visit, you must sit out... More
