Just like in Puerto Peñasco. Fresh, clean, and at the right price. We ordered the seafood cocktails, and some fish tacos. They were awesome.

Friends took us to this restaurant and we are grateful that they shared. We had ceviche de camaraon as an appetizer that was just packed with shrimp and a spicy but not hot sauce. One of the waiters told us they bring fish weekly from Puerto Penasco a few hours south. Camarones culichi is shrimp in a rich velvety green... More

The setting is very pleasant and clean. The service was wonderful. The menu is extensive and a bit different to decipher with poor translations. We had the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos. They were tasty, but the fish and the shrimp were heavily breaded and fried, not the best. Not much actual fish or shrimp. We would like to... More

The restaurant was packed on a Monday night! And it's true that the English on the menu is not the best. We ordered what others recommended and it was some of the best seafood iVe had. I had the fish in aluminum pillow. The flavor was amazing. My husband had the shrimp patties. Wow . We also had the shrimp... More

A local recommend the place. She said they had authentic Mexican food.. and she was right. I ordered a seafood dish that came with fresh vegetables, I cleaned the plate. The food server was great at providing service.I judge a place by the experience, this place created an excellent meal and service experience

Really good food. Very friendly staff. I had the stuffed shrimp and it was excellent. My wife had the shrimp medallions and also excellent. I think fish is their expertise, but all the meals looked inviting. We also went for lunch and had the soup Decameron. Very generous on the shrimp and very good portion. Breakfests looked good but we... More

If you are in the Rio Rico area then this a good place to eat. Menu has a wide variety of seafood, meat, mexican dishes, at a reasonable price. Happy hour prices on adult drinks, the only drawback is that you cannot watch sports on the big screen, otherwise I would rate excellent.

We live in Rio Rico AZ and we've been to La Bocanita twice. The first time, we ordered deep fried fish and it came out with breading that, instead of being light golden brown, was DARK brown and not appetizing. I almost sent it back, but I just peeled it away and ate the fish inside which was okay but... More

The English menu descriptions are sparse at best but the food and the service were fabulous! Not your regular 'Tex-Mex' but great authentic Mexican fare and ice cold beer! The salsa was fabulous and the sea food quite fresh given how far they are from the ocean!

Great place for a late lunch. Delicious mochomos, don't have to cross the border any more. Fresh seafood. Good atmosphere. Great place to meet your friends for drinks and grub.
