Firehouse Kitchen is our very favorite restaurant in Prescott. The area needed a place with reliable, consistent quality, excellent service and an innovative menu. As owners of Blessing Retreat, a bed and breakfast in the area, we recommend Firehouse Kitchen to all our guests, for lunches or dinners. Without exception, they come back raving about the food, the friendly owner,... more

The service was good, as well as the dining environment. However, this restaurant was way overpriced for the food served. The popovers and dinner salad with house dressing out shined any of the main dishes. more

I just learned about Trip Advisor from a friend and want to share my impressions about Firehouse Kitchen in Prescott. My grandmother used to cook like this! Real mashed potatos, rich brown gravy and the best pot roast this side of Ohio. Even the croutons in the salad are home made! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone I meet... more

Stumbled upon a great little restaurant in the downtown Prescott! The onion strings are to die for and so is the mac and cheese! Have been back several times and every time have tried something different, every time was a tasty surprise! The pork chop is as good as mine or better! Love the atmosphere and the service has always... more

This is a wonderful restaurant combining the best ambiance for dinner as well as the absolute best comfort food you will ever have if you have to leave your own kitchen! Our waitress was graceous, prompt, and attentive, without annoying us throughout the evening. We spent four and a half hours there for dinner and didn't even realize we had... more

My wife and I ate there July 19th. We had done a walk downtown trying to decide on which type of food for the meal. The smell from inside lured us in, and although they were very busy, we only waited a couple of minutes before being seated. My wife ordered ribs and I had a pasta dish, both of... more

I have never in my life written a review of any place I've ever been to. I am going out of my way to prevent false hopes about this RIP-OFF restaurant. Going to Whiskey Row quite a bit I was excited to read the awesome reviews about this "Gem" but maybe we hit them on a off night. Let me... more

Management response from
azrune, owner

As the owner, I would like to apologize to Tempetwo. We pride ourselves on our guests having a 5 star experience. Obviously, Tempetwo did not. I did go back to the night that Tempetwo ate at the Firehouse (Saturday, July,11). Interestingly, this happened to be the busiest night that we have experienced in the 9 months that we have been...

They were out of the more interesting sounding dishes and the ones they had were mediocre to bad. The meatloaf was horrible, maccaroni and cheese was bad, service was rare, place was cramped and it was horribly overpriced. Never again. more
