My husband and I went there for the first time. We sat outdoors on the upper level. We had to move to a second table to get noticed. That waitress was pleasant and took our drink order but said another waitress would be our server. She came over, introduced herself and asked if we were ready to order. We needed... More

A friend and I were taking our annual trip to Prescott to visit one of our favorite vendors in town. This time we decided to stay overnight. The hotel we stayed at suggested that the Firehouse Kitchen would be a good restaurant to get a steak. I was craving a good piece of beef. It was late afternoon, early evening,... More

We had previously had dinner at Firehouse a few years ago and it was good but when we were there at the beginning of June (2014) the special was fresh oysters with spinach, parmesan cheese and the mmmm good garlic mashed potatoes...now I know not everyone likes oysters but I do and our server said I just had to try... Recently had dinner at the Firehouse Kitchen. Did not like the feel of the downstairs dining area so we moved upstairs. It was very pleasant with a guitar player in the lounge/dining area and a small outdoor patio. The wait staff were very friendly and gave us good recommendations. Food quality was very good and very reasonably priced.

Just went there for dinner with some relatives. I had the meatloaf sandwich. The food was excellent for the price that you pay. I also had beer with my meal, and the prices are unbelievable. For the sandwich and 2-22 oz. beers, my bill was $18.00! I have not found many places with this high of a quality food and... More

Located in downtown Prescott this seems to be a popular choice with locals. We ate downstairs and it has a diner feel but the food was OK and reasonably priced.

For a town that has so many dog owners, there are surprisingly few restaurants in Prescott where you can take them. The Firehouse Kitchen is an outstanding exception. There is a dog-friendly outside patio area at ground level with umbrellas that provide shade. We prefer the balcony where there are two options once you climb a flight of stairs -... More

We have been at the Firehouse Kitchen on 3 previous occasions and the food and service was very good. Since our last visit, in 2013, the restaurant has changed hands and it was not a change for the better. After a short wait our server arrived and he proceeded to sit down at our table while he took our order.... More

We had another night for dinner in Prescott and had enjoyed the Osso Bucco and the happy hour on another visit. Well, same again. The happy hour upstairs was good; wine is $4 a glass for house). Our only complaint is the amount of noise. The one man band was too much for small space but if you are younger... More

Another place where my wife and had I talked about going many times, yet never had. We finally popped in on a Friday night, and weren't really sure where we wanted to sit — they offer an upstairs bar area (later found out Kenny James was playing), a downstairs dining room, and courtyard patio seating. We chose to eat downstairs,... More
