Great food, great atmosphere!

We visited El Gato Azul on the recommendation of our host. There was a lively band playing outside and the owner was there to greet customers. We had no reservations but they managed to seat us. We were not real hungry so tried the tapas. Wonderful! The atmosphere was festive and warm, with lots of... read more

My wife and I stopped for lunch after seeing the TA rating. We decided to go the tapas route selecting the beef carnitas, Parmesan crisp, and chicken Serrano. The chicken was soggy, the crisp had no Parmesan, and the carnitas were cold. However the service was good and the local IPA was cold. They did take the carnitas of the... More

We stopped on the way to the Sedona area. This is a little place with a LOT of flavor. Our waitress was exceptionally nice and helpful. It seemed busy but we did not have to wait long for our food. They have tapas and a lot of other dishes. The shrimp tostada and Beef pincos were amazing. I didn't really... More

This isn't really mexican food, and would more classify this as eclectic southwestern. We came in at 5pm on a Friday and learned that they were already fully booked for the night. The staff was great and let me negotiate a table out on the deck as long as we were done well before 6pm so that it could be... More

For a late lunch we stopped at this restaurant and enjoyed 4 delicious Tapas sitting on their shaded patio taking in the tastes and pleasant weather. I plan to take a small group there in Nov. for a dinner since we've found this terrific place.

We love this place! Very creative tapas selection, well executed. Service was slow, but their exhibition kitchen is very small. It's amazing that they can pump out such an elaborate menu from that kitchen. Patio dining was absolutely wonderful.

First the good--great service, nice people, enjoyed the seating on the patio. Wine was very nice. Ordered the Paella. It was quite bland. Not at all tasty. Disappointing.

Visited this place with my wife and daughter a few months ago. We had a variety of food. All prepared very uniquely. With a very fresh interesting and different sort of flavoring. I got the wraps and was very pleasantly surprised how tasty they were. We sat on their outdoor patio porch area, right after a rain, and it was... More
