Lunch was very nice under the large trees and next to one of the hiking trails. The wraps are very flavorful, the hummus sandwich was great and the iced tea was very refreshing. Quaint restaurant with blue cats (el gato azul) as logos on cups and as decorations.

We have been coming to vacation in Arizona for the last seven years. We love Sedona and the high country, but have visited most of the state. Today while riding through Prescott, we decided to eat lunch. El Gato Azul was our choice. And what great food! We ate exclusively from the Tapas menu and both agreed it was our... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere. We sat on the patio where they had a couple playing old blues type music. We found the tapas to be just OK. The shrimp corndog was undercooked with a lot of breading and the coconut shrimp was served with a curry that didn't wow us. Our favorite was the sticky chicken for sure. It was... More

It was a cool breezy afternoon and we seated on the patio. We kept asking why the patio heater did not work? It turns out the restaurant had run out of propane. We had shrimp and scallops with cous cous which was served barely warm and the Ribs which were dry, with unseasoned potatoes. There is only one bathroom which... More

Incredibly disrespectful of people who do not have an obvious handicap to go along with their service dog. We were grilled by multiple employees as to EXACTLY what it was that my service dog did. We informed then that he was a seizure dog. But were still harassed by staff. Our dog was lying quietly being repectful of his area.... More

Thank you for dining with us, and I apologize for any inconvenience. While your dog may have been a legitimate service animal, there are unfortunately many,. many people that bring their "pets" into the the restaurant claiming they are service animals when they are obviously not. This includes the couple with two wiener dogs in a stroller, the lady that... More

Well, this place was a surprise for us. If you are lucky and go on Sunday, you will see an old style entertainment. It was great and not too loud. If you are 45 and older this entertainment is for good memories. We enjoyed on player who was 87 and great on the horn. The management was very friendly and... More

Thank you for your review and pictures! Since you dined with us on a Sunday, you were listening to the Goodwin Street Gang who highlight 20-30s standard jazz with us every week from 5-8pm. We are glad you enjoyed the music and food! Stop by and visit us again when you are in the Prescott area. More

Given all these great reviews, somehow i was expecting a lot more. Surprisingly, finding decent dinners near downtown Prescott is more of a challenge than it should be, and I thought this place was going to change my mind. I had the Shrimp Cilantro (first item on the menu) while my wife had the muscles. I love shrimp and i... More

I'm so sorry to hear that you were not pleased with the Cilantro Penne. Generally speaking, it is one of our most popular dishes. Hopefully you had an opportunity to pass this information on to your server, so your concerns could be addressed appropriately. The Pesto is made fresh daily with Roasted Pecans in lieu of Pine Nuts, but not... More

Recommended to us and was as good as we were informed. Great selection. We enjoyed the tapas and will return when in Prescott again. Enjoyed the garden eating area. Very busy on a Monday night. Reservations might be the best way to go.
