My wife and I went on a pleasant afternoon, shared a couple of appetizers and some surprisingly generous sized and tasty Margaritas. When the weather is mild, the creek side patio is the only place to sit. The appetizers ranged from okay to very good, though a bit pricey. Wait staff was courteous and competent. Have driven by in the... More

It's a quaint place with creekside dining. We enjoyed a selection of tapas and some excellent local wine. Relaxed servers and great food.

We chose this place since tripadvisor reviews were so good. We arrived around seven p.m. and knew there would be a wait but did not expect it to be so long after the usual dinner hour. We got a table right away but our food service took a very long time around 30 minutes. Our salads were good. The pork... More

We had lunch on the patio by the creek. It was a pleasant atmosphere with a fantastic menu. A huge selection of sandwiches, salads and tapas. The hardest part was deciding what to order. It's a great place for a quiet lunch or dinner with friends.

El Gato Azul has a huge menu of amazing tapas! I've never tried anything I didn't like.here and we've ordered about 20 different items so far. The outdoor atmosphere is wonderful. They have some really great live jazz and mixed genre entertainment on weekends. We go as often as we can. Try to get in early because seating fills up... More

This is not the kind of place I would expect in Prescott. Think steaks and beer. This establishment specializes in tapas (they also serve dinner). Reservations are good to have if you want to sit outside. We didn't have reservations and were lucky to get a high top outside on the patio. Started the evening with margaritas. They serve a... More

Visited during an afternoon when it wasn't really busy but Sue Daniel was there playing a variety of native American flutes. It was wonderful.

My second visit to this quirky little place was not as good as the first. There were six of us and we ordered about 20 tapas dishes among us. Even though most were very tasty, we came to realize that they all pretty much tasted the same. For example, all of the deep fried dishes seemed to use the same... More

Visiting friends in Prescott who recommended we try El Gato Azul on Saturday, 8-30-14. Small plates are wonderful-kalamata olive bruschetta, ceviche, salmon pizza, crab cakes-all out of this world and sizable portions. Loved our waitress who could not have been friendlier nor more attentive. Next time in northern AZ, I am going back!
