always fun

Murphy's is one of our go to restaurants for lunch or dinner. They also have a really good Friday afternoon happy hour with very low cost appetizers including a seafood bar. Great burgers for lunch or dinner and a wonderful old time atmosphere once inside this former old bank building.

We have been here for lunch, brunch, and dinner during various visits to Prescott. The food is great and the staff is friendly. It is a nice place to go eat and drink then go walk it off around the plaza. Our menu choices have ranged from hamburgers to steak to oysters Rockefeller. Delicious.

Murphy's is always our fall back place to go here in Prescott. The best Catfish around and they have a really fun happy hour. Great appetizer menu and cheap drinks - what more can you ask for? It is a great "fine dining" restaurant as well but have found their beef dishes to never quite measure up - sometimes good... More

My husband and I gobbled up lunch at Murphy's. The surroundings are classy. The restaurant is divided up into sort of a bar scene on one side, separated by beautiful cut crystal panes set in wood panels. On the opposite side is the more traditional restaurant. The place is spotless, the restrooms are sparkling clean (had a handicap stall). The... More

McDonald's does it better! "Scrambled eggs" was an egg Patty. The potatoes tasted like they had been mixed with a can of cream of mushroom soup. The server did not come to the table after food was served until she brought the bill.

I decided to take a day to myself and go to Murphy's for the very first time. Without writing a novel, I will keep it short and say that the ribeye steak was exactly how I wanted it. Well cooked of course but it was just such a nice cut of meat!

Very attentive and excellent service in a very warm ambiance. We both had appetizers, which were very good. My husband had the steamed little neck clams which were served with a small chafing candle. The clams were very small, but tender. I ordered the grilled shrimp with mustard sauce, which also were very tasty. Would recommend as a restaurant to... More

The décor is nice, the staff is very friendly, I think it would be a fun place for a large party. The food was average. We had lunch there, maybe the dinner fare is a different story. But I still would recommend it if you need a place to eat in Prescott. One of many.

Last Saturday three couples had dinner at Murphy's. Overall the dinner was great and food outstanding. Service was very good given the busy evening at the restaurant. Several of us had the Mesquite salmon with honey mustard and it was outstanding as usual. Two others had the prime rib and really enjoyed it. A very nice evening, great atmosphere for... More
