Having spent our honeymoon in Prescott, we wanted to highlight the occasion by visiting this delightful restaurant which is indeed our favorite. We make it a point to eat here every trip we make to Prescott and we were not disappointed. My wife had the grilled salmon, though she would have preferred to have had the sauce on the side... More

Alas, we recently had our last trip to Murphy's here in Prescott (we are locals). A few months ago we ate the salmon at Murphy's and it was a poor cut and over cooked; then, we went back again and had the surf and turf (highly recommended by the server) - had to send the lobster back it was so... Family outing with small children, we requested and got a private dinning room to spare other guests from the activities of a toddler. Sadly they had overlapped booking of the room and we were hustled out before we could finish our desert. Loved the food and the service up to the point of being asked to leave quickly. We've eaten... Murphy's restaurant is located at the corner of Cortez and Willis a few blocks from the Courthouse in Prescott. This is an historic building dating back to 1890. It has been fully restored but still has the feeling of history. It still has the high tin or metal ceilings and results to sometime being noisy. The food and service is... More

A good restaurant with consistent food. I have enjoyed steak, prime rib, and a Sunday Brunch egg dish. Not a place to rave about but a good establishment with predictable fare. Friendly service and a clean comfortable physical plant. You won't go wrong by eating here. I think the menu is predictable and the Sunday Brunch menu lackluster, but my... More

Murphy's is a great place for some fine dining. It has bee around for many years and still delivers excellent food. I looked forward to dining here when I am staying in Prescott. The service for me has always been great. A little more on the pricey side but worth it. One of my favorites for sure.

My partner and I spent a night in Prescott as we travelled through Arizona. We had amazing service from Lewis and Stef. Loved the food (yes, we pigged out on the 18oz steak between us) and loved the chicken enchilada soup (think this was what it was called). Loved the beer as well.

A nice enough place to have a meal. Nothing special but a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Had dinner here and the portions are huge but good value for money.

It was a busy Friday night but that's no excuse for a two hour dinner that included but one drink and dinner (no time for desert). I had the pork tenderloin. It was dry. My wife had the chicken picata. It too was dry. Murphy's has great ambiance but little else on this trip.

A pleasant place to go for a special occasion. The bar area is nice, good service by the staff there. The food is OK; it's not extremely special but it's nice. The service here is good as well. A bit pricey for what is served but, not totally out of line.
