Good food in a cozy funky dining room

Iron Springs Cafe has consistently delivered really good food. Some southwest flavors and Cajun flavors to choose from, a nice treat for the Prescott area.

My wife and I have been going to the Iron Springs Cafe since it opened. We simply love it. My recommendation is the bbq shrimp as an appetizer, and the southern fried tuna steak (ask for extra gravy). The rest of the menu is very eclectic, and well worth trying on a subsequent visit. The staff are friendly and prompt.... More

Don't drive too fast or you'll definitely miss it. Restaurant occupies an old train station that we ducked into to get out of the rain on the bike. Ordered a Marguerite and stayed for the tortilla soup, sauté mussels and blackened catfish . . . Best I ever had. Don't wait for a downpour to go!!!!

It's nice, kind of country, layback atmosphere, clean, service was good. Kick back type restaurant, noticed there was a nice patio out in back, but didn't eat there.

Went recently on a Saturday night and it was simply disappointing. The wine list is very limited and the selections on there are not very good. I understand that they might feel they need to be a certain price point, but there are much better choices out there. Perhaps have a couple of Arizona wines on the list which could... More

As someone else pointed out, this is in an historic train depot & has a cozy patio. The staff were very gracious, especially my server, Donna. I always try to go for their Sunday brunch when I am in town, mostly for the atmosphere. I think it is a bit expensive for what you get. It's the only place where... More

This cafe is in an old train depot, and very quaint. They have many specials of the day to compliment the regular menu, and the food was excellent. They also have a quaint outside patio, but it was monsoon season when I visited. The prices were decent for the food and experience, so I highly recommend this cafe.

My friend and I went there on July 25th 2015. We had a really great meal. I had the veggie sandwich with chipotle sauce that was so good I had to compliment the chef...Who by the way is well known here in Arizona. She was on a T.V. show for a long time before opening her place. I have to... More

Positives: This is a cute little place! I really like the atmosphere. Our server was very friendly! We visited on a Sunday, which is the brunch menu. Negatives: I ordered the crab cake Benedict. The combination of flavors was okay. I didn't care for the seasoning of the crab cake itself. My husband ordered the catfish. ....unfortunately before we read... More

Went to Iron Sprinngs Cafe for dinner last night. It was hopping with other customers for early dinners. There were several choices in the mid price range such as salads, sandwiches and burritos. The steak choices sounded yummy. My husband said the chorizo burrito special was a bit on the spicy side... A side salad would be a great addition... More
