The driveway entrance is just east of the driveway for the Best Western Prescottonian . . . Chain restaurant with highly colorful decor has very good food, decent portion size, and excellent service. My wife, who normally only eats fish at either seafood or fancier restaurants, tried the "fresh" tilapia and was very pleased with both the taste and portion... More

The restaurant is right next to the Best Western Prescottonian where we stayed which made it very convenient. It is large and roomy and was filled with people, apparently many locals with families. We were seated immediately and found it easy to choose a vegetarian dish from the extensive menu. The food was delicious and he service was great.

Food substandard; management very rude; felt ill after eating there. Would not go back there again. There are many more fantastic restaurants than this in Prescott.

Something in the food made my daughter and myself sick. They charged $2.99 for a two and three year olds drink. And their salsa is tomato paste. Definitely a language barrier!

Went during happy hour and had some drinks and tacos. The drinks were a good price, but the food was just average. We had heard that they had the best Mexican food in town, so we were a bit disappointed. We saw another table only order drinks and no food (maybe they also felt that the drink prices are worth... Our first time eating here, the food was good, just not as much spice as we have had at other places. We were greeted by the friendly hostess and seated, our waitress was friendly and patient with us and came back several times as we looked over the menu and couldn't decide right away. Chips and salsa were brought to... More

The food was just okay. We order to go I order a fajita burrito and my husband order the original burrito. The chicken burrito was very salty and greasy which I know is expected with Mexican food however it was overly greasy. The fajita burrito was a little bit better but nothing to write home about. We had enough for... More

The eatery is colorful, and happy. The menu is huge, and all is so very good. We have eaten here a dozen times and we have never been disappointed. Service and pricing is excellent. Portions are large. Enjoy!

This was my second time at Plaza Bonita and I was delighted to return. I find most southwest cuisine to be uniformly appealing, so yes, I like it all! Now then, the reason to come here is the authentic ambiance, clientele, choice of beverages, and great service. If you’re visiting Prescott, eating here is yet another reason to come back!

Let me start by saying, I am from Los Angeles and feel we have some of the finest Mexican places around. Plaza Bonita was average at best. I will comment, that the server was nice, and tried hard. The place is impeccably clean. I ordered the mole chicken. I found the mole sauce to be somewhat soupy or watered down.... More
