Surprisingly Good

Mostly locals, good prices, really good food. The place was crowded on Friday night, but we got in relatively quickly since most folks were larger groups (we were just two) waiting for tables. I had the home made manicotti with marinara sauce and meatballs and it was very good. Not a store... read more

Went here with friends, first time here. Decent menu but interesting in that they do not serve wine. It is BYOB. They will provide glasses and a wine opener. There was a line outside the door already when we got there on a Wednesday just before 5pm when they open. They seem to be all regulars as they all were... More

As a long term resident of Prescott, we have been eating at LaBruzza's off & on for many years. Last night we visited and were horribly disappointed. The chicken dish I had was dry and unappealing. The pasta sauce had very little taste. My wife had an eggplant dish which she described as "just barely average". The quality of the... More

Avoid this place. At the risk of being elitist, comes naturally, there really isn't any dining in Prescott;just eating. Given that definition this place is inedible. What can one do to Linguini in white clam sauce?? Well, it is erved in a bowl of soup for starters. The linguini is not. The clams are not only not fresh, but the cheapest... More

I am a new resident of Prescott and always searching for good local restaurants. This is a place that would work for guests or my husband and me. We went on Valentine's Day which usually is a terrible day to eat even in a great place. Upon entering the door I was presented with a long stemmed red carnation! The... More

It's unusual in any town to see a line out the door BEFORE the restaurant opens. This happens almost nightly at LaBruzza's. Opening at 4:00pm, the place is frequented by locals and neighbors (like us who live within walking distance) who tote bottles of their favorite wine. LaBruzza's doesn't serve any alcohol, and the sodas come in cans. The food... More

Word of mouth is the only reason I stepped foot in this place. You'd pass it by if you were judging by looks alone, and on the inside it doesn't get any better. The decor is as cheesy as it can get with indoor awnings and lattice work. But the food, oh the food! I've traveled to Italy many times... More

This has been a longtime favorite of ours when in town- our family who live there frequent it often. It is small, very busy, no reservations, you can bring your own bottle of wine for a corkage fee, canned sodas but the food is really the draw. Mostly locals, very casual, dinner only. It has lost a bit of its... More

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path for visitors as most people tend to stay downtown. It is well worth the trip over to enjoy a meal. The restaurant is reminiscent of small family owned restaurants owned on the east coast where I grew up. In fact, it was started by Gabe LaBruzza who came from NJ years... More

Each of the four Italian restaurants in Prescott has a distinctive characteristic. LaBruzza's is a "family" restaurant offering very good food and excellent service at very modest prices. And they do not charge a corkage fee, so you can bring your favorite Italian wine. Following the death of the founder, Gabe, the restaurant experienced a difficult transition period. However, based... More
