This is perfect for couples and groups. The salads are ENORMOUS and unique. The pasta dishes taste so complex and service is wonderful. Genovese's never fails to deliver for an all-around great experience. Sipping Grand Marnier or coffee after dinner rounds out the night. I like that it's a quieter, more intimate atmosphere for adults. Love this place. In fact,... More

Had dinner here the other night and it was delicious. It is a small place and very popular, so make reservations if you can, but we only waited about 10 minutes without one. This is the place you want to go if you want a full Italian menu with many dishes to choose from ... and it is all great!... More

There wasn't too much to this place. Typical Italian fare. Veal was ok, but nothing to write home about. The side of pasta alfredo was too cheesy and not al dente. Service was fine. Pretty disappointed with the whole experience until the dessert came....homemade canoli. Excellent crunchy wrapper and smooth ricotta filling. However, the canoli was not enough to lure... More

I had the opportunity to eat at Genovese's this past Saturday. We were in Prescott and wanted to eat somewhere that was not 'cookie cutter' and this place fit the bill for that. The food was good, the portions very generous for the price. They do use a lot of Rosemary in many of the dishes, maybe a little too... More

I'm Italian so I am very critical of Italian restaurants. We heard this restaurant had authentic Italian food so my husband and I had dinner there and I had one of the specialties, Calamari Steak. I chose this dish because of other reviewers saying how amazing it was and because I love calamari. It was amazing! My husband actually had... More

My wife & I had lunch this past week. We love Italian food but found the food to be no better than average. The restaurant was not busy --- service was all right but not great particularly since the were few eating. Don't really have much to say other than it was average. Ate at several other restaurants in Prescott... More

We wanted to try Genovese's for the first time. What a mistake! After we were sat at the worst seat in the house, with many other preferable tables available, we sat for almost 10 minutes. We watched as the waiter took care of his friends at the window table. We watched as more of his friends that he addressed by... More

Four of us showed up with a reservation on Saturday night and waited only 5 extra minutes after being greeted at the door by a saxophone playing senior who enjoyed entertaining. The lady who seated us was skilled at satisfying people on several levels at the front door. The wait staff and servers in the not overly big restaurant were... More

Genovese's is not going to wow anyone's taste buds for excellent Italian dining, but it is a safe option for those who want a nice dining experience right off the square in Prescott. Our party ate different items: the pizza was made to order, cut as my husband requested, and had a good crispy crust that adequately survived the leftovers'... More

The brothy linguini sauce is truly spectacular. I highly recommend the rosemary ranch dressing for your salad. The marsala sauce is pretty amazing. The service is so friendly. You'll love Jimmy and the crew.
