Mid afternoon is the best

We walked right in and were seated and found that the prices for that time frame (a slow time I am sure) are very reasonable. The food was delicious, the service great. It is just a ½ block off Courthouse Square, a small restaurant with a jolly Italian chef figure standing out front.

We found this place just walking thru down. 5 minute wait. Since it was just the two of us, we got the table in the back corner, no big deal.. We're appetizer hoppers and ordered quite a few. Beats eating a huge meal of one item. The bruschetta was awesome along with the mussels. Garlic bread with marinara was superb.... More

My husband and I are locals; but when we moved here, this was the first place we dined. We've been back a number of times. Always met and served cordially and in a timely fashion, and the Italian fare is to our liking - we've never had a so-so meal here. Although it can fill up it still feels relaxing,... More

Authentic Italian food - this is the second time we have been here and have not been disappointed. The wait staff is attentive and courteous and the food is fresh and plentiful.

My mom has severe soy allergies. So many restaurants use soy based oils in and on their foods. Genovese's uses traditional olive oil. For the first time in years she was able to have pasta with clam sauce! Not my thing but she loved it! The rest of us loved what we got as well!

This was my fourth visit to this magnificent restaurant, and each time i was with different friends and relatives who all agreed it was superior Italian cuisine. I ordered a pizza during this visit and took leftovers home for my very grateful brother!

The most delicious aroma's great you upon entering this historic slice of Italy. Fresh tasting dishes. Awesome wine, and so romantic atmosphere. I can hardly wait for my next visit.

Fabulous, authentic Italian cuisine. Italian owned, family operated. Has won "Best Italian restaurant" for 3 years in a row. I had linguine with mussels (10 large, tender, & succulent) in the creamy sauce! Oh my, sauce light, fragrant & flavorful! Husband lived his spaghetti bolanese& tiramisu was wonderful. Meal served hot, not like it's been sitting under a warming light,... More

Everywhere you go in the United States there are Italian Restaurants. Most are satisfactory and then there are the real Italian restaurants that make real Italian food. So many just use a satisfactory pizza sauce and figure that most diners do not know one Italian sauce from another. I grew up in a an Italian neighborhood where I learned from... More

I was raised on Italian food. The last time I had really authentic Italian was in Philadelphia in 1957. I'm retired and this year decided to go to Philly, visit Dante and Luigis' and have my favorite meal, Manicotti. I went to Prescott for my 85th birthday, ate at Genovese's, ordered the Manicotti and can cancel my trip to Philly,... More
