Four of us showed up with a reservation on Saturday night and waited only 5 extra minutes after being greeted at the door by a saxophone playing senior who enjoyed entertaining. The lady who seated us was skilled at satisfying people on several levels at the front door. The wait staff and servers in the not overly big restaurant were... More

Genovese's is not going to wow anyone's taste buds for excellent Italian dining, but it is a safe option for those who want a nice dining experience right off the square in Prescott. Our party ate different items: the pizza was made to order, cut as my husband requested, and had a good crispy crust that adequately survived the leftovers'... More

The brothy linguini sauce is truly spectacular. I highly recommend the rosemary ranch dressing for your salad. The marsala sauce is pretty amazing. The service is so friendly. You'll love Jimmy and the crew.

We had lunch here and it was fine. Salads were simple and very fresh and the bread was really quite good. Next time I might ask for dressing on the side. I had eggplant parm and my friend had lasagna. Both were good and I appreciated the fact that the eggplant was not overly breaded. The pasta that came with... More

We were here tonight for one of our last few days in AZ. The location was perfect... Just a short walk from the courthouse area. We had great service. My husband ordered the diavalo seafood dish and enjoyed it. My veal parmigiana was just okay. Could be just a matter of choices. The portions were very large and could easily... More

Early bird special was great, 3:30 to 5:00 PM. The prices are less then on the main menu and you get a lot to eat

Stopped in to break from shopping. Really nice veal parm sandwich with roasted peppers. Wife and I split it - plenty! 15 year old had the chix. 12 year old had pepperoni pizza bread. He was happy. Overall very good. Nice staff, clean trad decor. Would return if in mood. Would not drive an hour to visit.

We stopped in there for lunch one day and had a really great Italian sandwich. This restaurant is easy to miss, great service, affordable prices. The only negative is that the chairs are really hard.

I have always enjoyed the food and service at Genovese's, and my most recent visit was a lovely reminder of how friendly and helpful the staff are. I was on my own since my husband was out of town, but I felt right at ease. The angel hair pasta and meat sauce were delicious - their meat sauce is the... More

I just ran across this place today looking for dinner before a business meeting. I was welcomed by a friendly server and he took care of me throughout the meal very well. The caprese salad was wonderful. The tomatoes were ripe and the cheese was fresh without being overpowered by the balsamic. I could have just had a meal of... More
