Great Breakfast!

Went for Sunday breakfast and arrived before the crowds rolled in. The servings were hearty and stick-to-your-ribs kind of food. My husband and I both had an omelette that came with your choice of potato and toast or biscuit/gravy. We opted for the homestyle potatoes and the biscuit and gravy... read more

Ate here for breakfast and had something called a scramble, a skillet blend of meats, potatoes and eggs. The food looks great and was well cooked (huge portions as mentioned by others), but in my opinion was far too bland. I could not detect salt, pepper, or any other spices in the dish. If I had a suggestion it would... More

Ate here for breakfast and the portions are HUGE! Biscuits and gravy very good, not greasy. Staff weren't quite as friendly as other restaurants in town, but pleasant.

Service was good, the Reuben was very good, as was the Cobb salad, but they had run out of chicken. Who runs out of chicken when it's an ingredient on many of your menu items? Oh, and the tortilla soup was cold. But the server was very efficient and very nice.

We could not decide on which restaurant to have lunch , so we asked the locals. They sent us to Lone Spur Cafe. Nothing fancy, just good food and good service. And the burgers were great.

The atmosphere was very good with lots of Western themed decor. The main menu was a little pricey but they also had a breakfast special menu that was more affordable. If you don't see this menu, ask for it. Presentation was normal for a breakfast plate and the food was tasty. Service was quick but they were not too busy on... More

Located across the street from the courthouse square, this place has it all; ambience, decor, service, and generous portions of delicious food (and I had the small portion). The prices are a bit high for breakfast, but the location and the tourist season justify the cost. The clientele is eclectic. From beanie wearing throwbacks from the late 60s to the... More

This used to be the best place for good down-home cooking, but the 2 times we have eaten there it seems like more frozen stuff you can get anywhere or at home. The portions are still big enough for two, the staff is wonderful and the environment is fun! Come on Lone Spur go back to home-made.

I am sorry that we have not been at the level that you have come to expect. I am not sure what items you have not been pleased with. Our longtime cooks are using the same recipes that they have always used. I am sorry that it was not right for you. I hope you give us an other chance.... More
