Service great, food just had no flavor

The staff is friendly and attentive, but I had a Chicken sandwich that really lacked in flavor or anything more than ordinary. Ambiance is great and brings you into the western theme with lots to look at while waiting for your food or eating. It looks like a hole in the wall just off of Whiskey... read more

Every time we go to Prescott we eat breakfast here. The portions are huge and never disappoint, the servers are really friendly and help each other out. There wait is pretty long on the weekends but totally worth it.

Great food in copious quantities. Cowboy atmosphere, but in a good way. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. We were here last year and looked forward to our return. We weren't disappointed. We will probably go there for breakfast tomorrow on our way home.

Comfort food with a cowboy touch. Great place to fill up before getting on your horse and ridding out on the range. Big portions and great taste, served with a smile and a howdy.

Four of us had a late lunch. As always food was good and we all enjoyed it very much. We had burgers and soup. Since this was a late lunch service was great until food was delivered. Everyone turned from sever to house cleaning. This is understandable to see at the end of the lunch shift but still at least... More

After reading the ratings for this place and happily waiting in line on Sunday morning for 30 minutes I was quite surprised in the mediocre quality of the food. my wide felt the same. I ordered the corned beef and eggs. The corned beef cam from a can, as evidenced by the circular shape the same diameter of a #303... More

I am sorry to hear that you did not like the food. I'm not sure what to say other than sorry. We have people from all over the country tell us that we have the best gravy that they have ever had along with our hash browns. I am sorry that your corned beef hash was over cooked. It does... More

We went for breakfast, and the food was great, but the atmosphere even better. Funny, efficient waitress, swift service, an appearance by the owner, and fabulous decor--you could spend hours looking at the paintings, old album covers and other decorative objects on the walls. Only down side was the cappuccino, which was served sickly sweet. Just go with regular coffee.

We stopped by here based on a recommendation. We were lucky that we got right in because there was a wait not long after we arrived. My wife had the biscuits and gravy which she thought were amazing. I had steak and eggs which were just really good. It is a cool little spot and it is worth stopping by... More

We've never had a bad meal at Lone Star Cafe, but we especially love their breakfast! Great, friendly service, and great location right downtown.
