I used to faithfully shop at New Frontiers, for their "Mom and Pop" atmosphere. The majority of the staff were helpful and friendly. Since its acquisition by the Whole Foods conglomerate, I have noticed that almost all of the friendly staff have left, the surliest cashier has stayed on and has been joined by equally surly people from elsewhere, with... Yes, it's becoming a Whole Foods, but it will always be New Frontiers to me. Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful foods and natural healthcare options. If you need a first- or second-breakfast, try the oatmeal bar!

Delicious food--love that you choose anything and limit your portions. We always eat at New Frontiers after a long day of hiking, then create a great sandwich for the next day of traveling. Great organic options.

Whatever I look for in the 'healthy' department, I find at New Frontiers Market in Prescott. Prices are competitive, store is well-stocked, and staff always offers assistance. The only reason I don't shop here when I intend to stop is the lack of space in the limited parking areas.

Unfortunately this is not a very nice store and the selection is small, but they do have some organic items and fresh seafood that no one else in town has. Their Sedona and Flag stores are great. Not sure why this one continues to be a dump after years of telling people they are opening a new store.

If you are looking for a place that sells fresh produce and meat, this is it. You can even as for special cuts of any meat product they carry - almost like an old fashion butcher shop.

I LOVE everything about this grocery store. I frequently buy my meals at the deli counter, and I refuse to buy my meats and cheeses anywhere else. Some complain that their prices are a little high, but when you desire to buy the best, freshest and purest ingredients, their prices are right on par with any other healthy eating or... More

This chain has great stores in Flagstaff and Sedona and a beat up small store in Prescott. I am sure they are losing business as alternatives open. One good meat and seafood store opening should finish them. Seafood selection is very small but there are few real alternatives if you want organic or free range or wild caught, etc. They... More

Stopped by here on the way home from work to grab a salad. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon and the salad bar had no silverware and all the salad dressings were empty. I asked three different people three different times for salad dressing and all I got was "sure". Not one of them attempted to get any salad... More

Not necessarily a place I would go for breakfast or lunch. It's got a salad bar and prepackaged foods which are fine, but not if you are planning lunch with friends. However, they do carry incredibly fresh meat and fish, and quite an array of organic/natural foods.
