The place looks great. Lots of displays about Prescott's history. Loved that. The food was average though. I see others had the "best ribeye steak ever" here. Well I didn't. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad either, just average. For the price ($60) I felt the food would have been better.

After reading some reviews we we're a little nervous of visiting but as it is the oldest we thought we should. We were not disappointed. The food was good and the service was great, the old Wild West things were very interesting to look at.

Had a few drinks at the bar which is huge, old and full of history. The bartender was great and loved to share stories from the Wild West days. She was very informative and genuinely loved to tell us all about the history of the place. You feel like you walked into a Western Movie set the minute you enter... More

I haven't been to the Palace in over two years until last weekend. I was amazed at the quality of service, food and atmosphere. My server was very knowledgeable about the history pertaining to the Palace. I thought that I knew a lot, but she pointed out bullet holes, and brothel call buttons. My friend, and I will be back... Great prime rib and drinks. This place is getting better over time. I like the prime rib and jack and ginger if you didn't like a year ago try again

Palace has been operating in downtown Prescott, even before the great fire of July 1900 when the whole block burned and the then owners hitched a team of horses to their ornate oak bar (still the one in use), dragged it across the street to the Courthouse lawn, and set up shop, selling drinks to the bystanders while the firefighters... The Palace bills itself as "America's oldest saloon." It doesn't get more authentically Old West than the Palace. Other than that, the menu is basically comfort food, preparation is average, and service can be good. Good place to take visitors, as long as they're not overexpecting.

Had lunch, pork fiesta soup was one of the best soups I have ever had. Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich was also great, especially the horseradish sauce on the side. Service was friendly and good. Palace cheeseburger was also very good.

We didn't have much food here but visited the bar every night of our stay for happy hour. Two cocktails for $7?!? What a deal! This place has great historical significance and must be visited for a look if not more. Sit at the bar - the bartender was great and made us great drinks. We'll definitely go again the... More

Swing the doors open into the past. Walk by the bar to the rear for a table near the shower room. Was seated at the Doc table. Beer & steak dinner. Grilled artichoke hearts. Can't remember what the lady had that night. No complaints about food or service. Bill with tip came to around $75 Then I was charged 75... More
