Palace has been operating in downtown Prescott, even before the great fire of July 1900 when the whole block burned and the then owners hitched a team of horses to their ornate oak bar (still the one in use), dragged it across the street to the Courthouse lawn, and set up shop, selling drinks to the bystanders while the firefighters... The Palace bills itself as "America's oldest saloon." It doesn't get more authentically Old West than the Palace. Other than that, the menu is basically comfort food, preparation is average, and service can be good. Good place to take visitors, as long as they're not overexpecting.

Had lunch, pork fiesta soup was one of the best soups I have ever had. Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich was also great, especially the horseradish sauce on the side. Service was friendly and good. Palace cheeseburger was also very good.

We didn't have much food here but visited the bar every night of our stay for happy hour. Two cocktails for $7?!? What a deal! This place has great historical significance and must be visited for a look if not more. Sit at the bar - the bartender was great and made us great drinks. We'll definitely go again the... More

Swing the doors open into the past. Walk by the bar to the rear for a table near the shower room. Was seated at the Doc table. Beer & steak dinner. Grilled artichoke hearts. Can't remember what the lady had that night. No complaints about food or service. Bill with tip came to around $75 Then I was charged 75... More

My wife and i visited the Palace Saloon last week in Prescott. They have done a great job in restoring the restaurant and saloon. Lots of wonderful old pictures on their walls. We just had an appetizer which was very good and the service was prompt and friendly. We will return to the Palace on our next visit.

Had whole family for eats at your establishment 12/20/13. We couldn't stop admiring the building from inside to out. Loved the bullet holes from tipsy trigger finger cowboys. I felt the presence of proud historical figures, not of cold dank sorrow, but the room felt as if it were bursting with pride and wanted to tell us more of the... More

We were seated very fast and order was taken promptly. The host, who stood outside was great as well as our waitress. Food was excellant and service was very attentive. Even had the waitress inform us of a few ghost stories involving the mannequin on the second floor. Great time!

I had been here many times had was disappointed with the service and food quality this visit. It is a important part of whiskey row history but the food was mediocre and the $11 Patron margarita was a rip off. I counted 7 servers and it took 15 minutes to take our drink order and the $13 prime rib sandwich... More

Atmosphere. Historic artifacts on display. Food. On a group tour, our coordinator scheduled us to have lunch here after a visit to the Sharlat House and Museum. Great choice.
