Nice surprise for on site restaurant

Very good service and food, just like the other Roy's we've been to. Let the wait staff tell you what to order.

The three stars is for the kind bartender although he did not ask why we didn't eat our meal. I rarely leave bad reviews, but his was by far the worst meal I have paid for since the Lunch Lady in Saigon. The ramen dish was so over salted that it was all we could taste.

We were staying at the Villa's in Marriott (across from the JW Marriott). We had eaten at the Roy's in Oahu and were looking forward to a special evening. Have to say we were a bit disappointed. The atmosphere inside is a bit noisy...I felt like I could hear everything going on at the table next to us. Our waitress... More

Restaurant hotels are usually lower quality than free-standing ones in my experience. This was the case at Roy's in the excellent JY Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. The service was attentive if not totally polished or professional. We ordered dishes we've had before at Roy's: rib appetizer, salmon and butterfish. Hot tea ordered because we were cold came lukewarm.... More

We had a business dinner at Roy's. Great service, food and a wonderful time. The food was a little slow coming out but we really did not notice. The manager came by and gave us our dessert free! Sweetttt Thanks

We had cocktails and ALL the apps on the Aloha Hour menu this week on the patio @ Roys. The Musician was FANTASTIC and added to the ambience. We loved all the food selections, with the exception of the ribs, which were quite fatty. The weather was a bit cool for AZ but the fireplace and heaters were a nice... More

Worth every penny, Roy's has the perfect touch in flavor! Every bite, from the Misoyaki Butterfish to the Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle, was amazingly delicious.

Great appetizers...ribs, tuna, sushi and sliders. Great service as staff stayed open after hours to resolve our appetites. Good Wine selections by the glass.

I've only eaten at Roy's in the Hawaiian Islands and I was skeptical about freshness in Arizona...but, it was a good meal. They had an extensive children's menu. The service was helpful and friendly. It was more expensive than I remembered Roy's being.

Each Roy's restaurant has several dishes unique to the chef partner and local ingredients. We loved the calamari steak strips with macadamia nuts. We also enjoyed the Wagyu beef sliders at the bar. So flavorful and melt in your mouth yummy. We shared the bone in ribeye and Szechuan Brussels Sprouts both also on the seasonal menu. Truffle Mac and... More
