We ate on the patio which was so peaceful. We all enjoyed our meals which were mostly seafood. The waitstaff was attentive and the food was a good value.

We last visited Roy's two years ago whilst staying at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge on holiday and although we are now staying in a different hotel, my wife and I though a trip back would be well worth the short journey to relive the wonderful meals we had there. Although the menu has changed in the two years since... More

The location and menu are excellent, but let down by the experience. Ordered fish, asked how I wanted it done, and when I said lightly-cooked was told "sorry we don't like to cook less than medium". Okay I said, I will order something else. Immediate response " well maybe we could". They did cook it medium rare and it was... More

Maybe it was the night, the time, or just a slow summer season? but the appetizers at the bar during the "Happy Hour" weren't what they used to be a year ago. Tiny tacos and bland. Sushi so-so. Drinks ok-seemed different than late night cocktails. Will try again in Spring and see if it was a one time happening!

Roy's has changed over the last year. We don't know if it is new management but the place is coming off our list for several reasons. - The once fun staff is more or less all new and need happy pills - Depending on the staff working on the day be prepared to be cut off during Aloha Hour, 4-6... Great food complimented by services made a business meeting effective and memorable. Full menu and review of the offerings made it easy to select. Appetizer medley was a plus. Deserts were served as small choices to taste their assortments. Great wait staff. Great wine. Location is prime.

We dined with friends last week. We each had a $25 gift card with $50 spent and after being at the pool and drinks at the pool patio, we decided we were hungry for some sushi and glad we dined at Roy's. Service was good and they filled up for a 9:30pm reservation. Ahi Poke needed a little more kick.... More

This restaurant has outstanding food and service and is located in the lower level of Desert Ridge Marriott. The restaurant is small and even though we arrived very early-around 5 pm, the first reservation available wasn't until 8 pm. They said we could dine outside or in the bar so we chose inside at the bar.The restaurant isn't very big... More

I love going to Roy's! We have been to several locations throughout the country. This location continues the tradition of excellent food. The staff is kind and helpful with the menu and choosing wines. Our waiter even had a little time to talk to us about the area. I had the butterfish which is my favorite. It was fixed to... More

We started eating at Roy's years ago when they were just a local restaurant in Hawaii. Yes, they are now part of a major chain but the food is still wonderful. We just recently stayed at the Marriott and had dinner again at Roy's. It's been a while since we've had dinner at this location; we've often caught the happy... More
