If you're staying at the JWM then yes, eat here.

The breakfast buffet is the best part of their day. Lots of choices and good service. You also have the choice of the full buffet and a more "continental" style. Best happy hour at hotel, however service needs some work on acknowledging customers and service. From being ignored from the hostess (I was the only one there) to waiting 5 minutes, I got water but he couldn't take my order. I eventually had to get up and find a server. It was not busy. On a better note, food is... More

If staying at JW, this is a good choice. Not my favorite place but ate there due to ease of access. Service probably jaded my view coupled with my wife's dish only having 3 scallops - that's it...the entire entree... Swordfish was fishy, but the best thing we had was the seared tuna. That was incredible! Would I go back... More

We spent Valentine's evening at this wonderful restaurant. We ate outside on the patio, and our waiter graciously brought over a heater near our table. The food was wonderful--I loved my Rosemary butter Seared Scallops, and my husband enjoyed his Spiced Grilled Pork Chop. Both were done perfectly. The service was impeccable. I would go there again in a heartbeat!

Roy's is a chain restaurant, but on the higher end scale of chains. This is the third I have been to (Honolulu and Big Island) and it lived up to its past. Very good with children (in fact one of the best for handling them I can remember) with a diverse menu. Prices are steep, and the staff was a... More

I've been to at least 5 Roy's in other cities, as well as this one several years ago. This visit was a huge disappointment. The service was good, which is the only redemption in this review. There were four of us in our party and everyone's food was over cooked. One person ordered the Ono, and after sending it back... More

On holiday, we were celebrating a birthday and booked into Roy's for dinner. Upon our arrival, the host showed us both an outside and an inside table selection. We went with the quieter indoor ambiance for this occasion but would sit outdoors for a more casual time. A birthday card and curled ribbon was given to the birthday person as... More

We took some good friend for dinner and it was disappointing the Calamari and the crusted Mai Mai were good but the short ribs unacceptable and the special of the evening took two times to get it right...and while the presentation was excellent the taste was sub-par. This is not the kind of food we are used to get from... More

Went on Valentines Day. Unfortunately, the menu was fixed with the least expensive meals selection (chicken, no less) was priced at $56. Plus while Roy's is noted for their seafood selection, only one fish item was offered on Valentine's Day
