Stopped in on way to DBacks Tuesday nite game...husband got a sausage dog meal and me...fried catfish/shrimp. Tasted like a cornmeal batter. very light and perfectly fried. clean Oil is always the best! Would have loved spiced batter but many just add hotsauce instead. Some New Orleans food in downtown Phoenix. Gumbo was great. Stopped by later in the day for some awesome cobbler. And they have sweet tea! :-)

We ordered a BBQ beef sandwich and a BBQ chicken sandwich both were excellent! The beef was high quality. The price was very reasonable especially considering it is right near the ball park. The best part of the our visit was definitely the peach cobbler!!!

We were at a conference at the Phoenix Convention Center and went to Karim's for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! We loved the atmosphere that you can only get at a family owned restaurant. The food was a good value, but the cobbler was to die for! We will be stopping in on our next trip to Phoenix, for sure!
