Great food,

I had the peasant paella and my companion had the queasdilla's. I thoroughly enjoyed mine. The flavours were great, fresh and very tasty. A great mix and everything worked well together. My companion enjoyed his meal also. The service was good, the staff friendly and the ambience OK.

The food is a fantastic, combination of latin american, spanish (spain), et al. Then combine it with a private patio oasis and wonderful jazz accompaniment, a JEWEL.

We went for dinner. Was very good - was hoping for crazy good based on reviews. Had the short rib enchiladas with mole. The mole had too much cumin for me so it over powered the flavor. Great corn bread. Husband had chicken tacos and he thought they were just ok.

We usually have appetizers and/or standard entree items at this wonderful not-Mexican-not-ordinary, maybe Cuban? restaurant, all of which are outstanding and generous. However, last evening we may have had the best steak we have ever eaten. And shrimp. The spices and seasonings Fuego's chef uses made the meals. Side dishes are generous, and green beans, while elsewhere are just blah,... More

I went to Fuego Bistro during restaurant week last year. It was likely the best deal of the entire event and gave me the opportunity to try a lot of different things. Their Sangria was pretty good but I likely wouldn't buy it at full price. However, their food was AMAZING. I had the seafood chile relleno and it was... More

Consistently satisfying Latin comfort food; very good service; excellent patio with live music when the weather permits. Unusual location but that only adds to it's charm.

We ate inside the small dining area at 5PM in July at the first table with west-facing large window. Our Happy Hour food and drinks were wonderful and plentiful--salads, empanadas, veggie tacos, rellenos and tilapia tacos. However, there is no window covering for the west window, and when I asked our waitress to turn down the air-conditioning, she said that... More

Despite it's location in the southwest, Phoenix does not have the southwestern vibe that Tucson does so we were really happy to find Fuego Bistro to satisfy our yearning for great food with a southwestern flair. The food is great, as is the service. It's a tiny place, a little hard to find but well worth it!

There is a reason why this unique restaurant has so many glowing reviews. Fuego just isn't authentic Latin dining, great service, unique setting, fantastic music... It's the whole experience! And it is fantastic! It was a great dining experience, fun, funky, enjoyable... Oh did I mention a great wine list, cocktails ... Go, enjoy this wonderful restaurant. You'll be singing... More

We enjoy the one-off restaurants not associated with large chains. Fuego Bistro is a charming and unique restaurant in an interesting studio complex. Part of the restaurant is set up in the resident artist's (Jason Lee Davis) studio and piano lounge. The bar is another studio space with several small tables and interesting art adorning the walls. The largest seating... More
