GREAT AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD

It took me a while to make it to Cibo.... and pasta Tuesday. The meal starts with a small salad. Pasta Tuesday menu has two pastas.... ))) Both hand made by the owner. Linguine which I had ... it was light and just the right amount of pasta. Actually I was still a little hungry afterwards. My friend had the... More

This restaurant is a real gem in downtown Phoenix. Now that the weather is so lovely the outdoor patio is wonderful for a lunch or brunch. We had the caprese sandwich with the simple yet delicious house salad. So delicious it made me want to go back the very next day for the same thing! Yum!

Yes the restaurant is a converted house and yes most of the seating is outside in an intimate setting. The pizza reminds me of the pies I had in Rome... fresh tomato sauce, freshly made dough and original ideas for toppings. Stick with a chain pizza joint if you want pepperoni pie. Come to Cibo for something different and fun.... More

I'm always venturing out to try new places to dine and when friends recommended this place, we jumped on it. This is a house that was converted into a restaurant. It's small, intimate and very good. They have indoor & outdoor seating, great for the winter in Phoenix. We had their specialty pizzas and the did not disappoint. I would... More

We all have our special local places we like to frequent. And when we travel, we like to look for the kinds of places that locals patronize. But it isn't alwasy easy. Well, if you are in Phoenix, and happen to be in the downtown area, I'll let you in on a secret: locals LOVE Cibo ("Chee-boh"). It's in a... More

We visited Cibo while in town for work and had a GREAT meal. We were hoping to find something different than what's offered around the convention center and could not have been more pleased. Cibo is in a neighborhood house with a huge, charming patio (white lights and live acoustic music) and had friendly, wonderful service. We started off with... More
