We had 10 people with varying food preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, chicken-only) and the prospects of finding a place that would cater to that complexity was daunting. Fortunately, La Grande Orange not only caters to all of that weirdness, it also caters to the meat-lovers and sweet tooths. The pizza was thin-crust and wonderful, with a slightly spicy tomato sauce and... More

Whenever I'm in Scottsdale or Phoenix, I have to stop in to La Grande Orange. It's actually 2 places, one is a smaller store that sells gifts and books and you can also order take out from that side. The desserts are also showcased there. The restsurant part is attached, and you can just walk through to it. Give your... More

Unusual building that seems to go on and on and on! Very efficient order takers at the walk up desk. We had breakfast there and it was great. Lots to look at in the deli cases and lots of gifty stuff to purchase.

I was in town for a few days and stumbled onto this place using the "Near Me Now" tool on the Trip Advisor app... once again, Trip Advisor led me to a great eating experience! As other reviewers have mentioned, it took me a little while to figure out what was happening around me... (at the risk of losing my... More

And don't forget the bakery items, usually very good. The Grande Orange is always one of the first stops when we visit Phoenix. The somewhat deli approach is not quite Zingerman's in Ann Arbor, but the food is always fresh, well prepared and a great value. Seating can be a little hectic but there is always in one of the... Whatta crust! Delicious avocado, mushroom/carmelized onion and Gladiator pizzas. Never had a bad pie there. Oh, and get the Sonoma salad-- to die for! (It's usually only in the to-go bins, but the waitstaff has been good about serving it in the dining room as well.) The only problem is the small parking lot and the wait on the weekends.... More

Great service and atmosphere... Always a great deal too. No corkage fee when you buy from the grocery, excellent pizza (the avocado with added marinara and ricotta is our fave). Their pimento dip and salted choc chip cookies are to die for. Their breakfasts are fabulous, too! If it wasn't so far from home, I'd be here several times a... More

Don't settle for a boring breakfast at your hotel....or god forbid, Dennys. And definitely don't have lunch at a fast food restaurant because you can't find anything "quick". Stop here and eat. Great staff. Great environment. Great vibe. As you enter from the rear entrance after you drop your car off at their free valet, you feel like you've mistaken... More

We had flown in from San Francisco and were hungry. We were told this was a great place, easy to find, so we went. Lots of parking, and they even have a valet which we used. Valet is free. Anyway, it is extremely casual and when we got there, there was a line out the door. We got inside and... More

The food here was really good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. It is a little pricey in my opinion, but no one seems to mind. The place was packed and I imagine, it frequently is. It is definitely worth a try at least once.
