Downtown breakfast spot

Visited several times, most recently with the Arizona Bicycle Club on a Sunday morning breakfast ride. It's neither the most nor least expensive place downtown. Food and service are more than satisfactory.

Had breakfast at Steve's. The food had a bit of unique seasoning that I found excellent. The service on the other hand - no so great. If you are not in a hurry, try this place. You'll enjoy the food. If you ARE in a hurry, I would not recommend eating here....you'll be late for your appointment.

I was looking for a place that I could enjoy a decent salad. This is not the place. Ordered a Caesar salad (simple enough) but it was mediocre at best. No croutons (they use won ton crisps...???), bagged cheese I believe - perhaps mozzarella- and waaaay too much dressing.

We had a breakfast on a Sunday morning at Steve's, initially wanted to try the famous Matt's but it was so crowded that we preferred to find another restaurant. Steve's was perfectly located for our first visit in Phoenix, we were able to park almost in front of the restaurant (you have to pay), which was convenient to walk around... More

Steve's is across the street from the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great low priced menu selections and a wide ranging menu. Nice little bar as well. We went there several times for breakfast--and they accomodated a team dinner for 24 one evening. They know how to take care of large parties and did... More

Visited this restaurant the week of June 22-26,2015 as my company had meetings at the Hyatt hotel across the street. I ate here twice. The first time I ordered a chicken taco salad. The second time I ordered a half sandwich and salad. The chicken taco salad was large and delicious. Unfortunately I got sick that night and threw up... More

We had breakfast here everyday we were in town. It is right across the street from the convention center, and our hotel was half a block from it. The prices were spot on. Nothing was over priced. They had some local flavor. The food was pretty fresh and had good flavor. I had waffles, French toast, eggs, potatoes, the meatloaf... More

Had dinner at Steve's just after checking in at the Hyatt Regency across the street. We enjoyed our meals, service was great for dinner.. Breakfast next day was good, the waitress seem distracted. Would go again, great atmosphere... Patio scene is very nice.

Was in town for business and got in late. I was hungry and wanted something close to my hotel. I was impressed a place this was open that late. Very good food and a big menu. Don't think you can go wrong with anything you order.

First of all iMessage and food is absolutely delicious I ordered a steak sandwich and the wonton chips with the guacamole and salsa excellent. Now one would assume that restaurant that is right next to the convention center and a hotel would be staffed accordingly when large conventions were in town. Seems that this restaurant was a disorganized mess and... More
