Convenient, Good value

I ate at Steve's Grill in Downtown Phoenix. I had a Cobb salad. Good American food. Tasty and plentiful. I ate there once before and enjoyed the good food so I returned. Gr8 location in the heart of downtown Phoenix close to the Chase Field and Talking Stick Arena. Service was good. The... read more

We were here for a conference and found this place on the first day! We went back the rest of the week. The servers were friendly, the food was out quickly, and the coffee was neverending. I would (and did!) go back again!

I've been visiting Steve's since it opened, a few good decades ago. I work nearby and Steve's is your around the corner, cheap and friendly place. Food-wise though, that's another experience. Their dishes are what you woukd expect out of a little better than average fast good restaurants. A bit of a greasy spoon, if you may, which will leave... More

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Reasonably priced & short walk from convention center/Ball Park & sports arena. Food was great & service excellent. Enjoyed the Chicken wrap.. lots of meat. Even though we had a group of about 30 or so... they handled us quickly.

We stopped here for a quick dinner before a basketball game. From the outside we expected the usual bar food. You can get that and so much more. Too bad it was too cool for us to sit outside even with the heaters. We would have loved to watch the world go by as we dined. Unlike other reviewers, we... More

Really good hamburgers. Salads were nice but nothing special. Breakfast was just OK. Nice outdoor seating area.

I read a few reviews first and despite the warnings if slow service we decided to try it since we weren't in a hurry. 7 pm on a Sunday night, place was only half full but we sat a full 10 minutes with not even a glass of water. We got up and left.

Stopped at Steve's with colleagues when in Phoenix for a convention. Location was convenient, easy walk from the convention center. Lots of choices on the menu. Sadly the food was very mediocre. Our server was very slow and didn't make sure we even had silveware at our table - we couldn't get his attention. My salad was great but my... More

Walking by and wanted breakfast...so I ventured inside. Pretty typical mid-range restaurant. The stay were older, courteous and efficient. They got my order correct, the coffee was hot.......really nothing special here but an ok location for a quick meal. Very strange access to the washrooms as you walk through the kitchen. It was a little confusing at first but then... More

Alone in downtown Phoenix on a Sunday afternoon I wandered into Steve's. I ordered the Mojito Margarita and Meatloaf Sliders from the very, very handsome waiter. He came back with the "Rita and told me they were out of meatloaf, and did I want a Buffalo slider? Well, ok. The Rita was ok. Far, far better than the other Rita... More
