Not much to grumble about: ample portions, efficient service, central location, reasonable prices (I paid ~$15 for chicken tenders and shoestring fries, a large caesar salad and soft drink). It was, also, open at lunchtime on Monday ... four other restaurants I passed were not! Opposite the convention center and they have a happy hour etc. It'll never rock your... More

I are here for lunch and had the tuna melt with the grilled potatoes. The potatoes and the tuna melt had green chilies which I thought were great. It was very reasonably priced. They have to go cups available and outdoor seating. They had a fully stocked bar with drink specials that seemed well priced. Good menu selection.

Great food and quick service. My friend and I shared a cowboy burger and fries. The meat was excellent and the fries are shoestring. Very yummy. The service was quick and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone in the downtown Phoenix area.

Have tried just a little of everything on the menu as I had meetings downtown once a month. Food is good, prices reasonable.

We ate there for breakfast while staying at the Hyatt. I had a mexican omlet the 1st morning and it was stuffed full of poblano, onions, and cheese. It came with potatos which were clearly homemade. The staff was friendly, and when we came in the 2nd day they greated us like family. This is not a gourmet place serving... More

We stopped in here after a movie one night and it was a fun little find. We just wanted to grab a beer and have an appetizer. We got their chicken fingers, which were very good and hit the spot. The best part though was finding that they have hop knot! Maybe the only place downtown that does now;) We... More

From the outside Steve's looks like your common bar that just happens to serve food. While they did have a bar the food was very good and very reasonably priced (as were the drinks). If I go back to Phoenix I will most likely stop by Steve's again.

I'm surprised this place makes any profit because the price of a meal here is crazy cheap and the best part is it's actually really good food. You won't be disappointed by the price and the taste of food here.

Eaten here many times, the food is quite good, and reasonably priced, but the service has the ability to be abysmal, even when they are not busy.

I ate here during a business trip to Phoenix in May while staying at the Hyatt across the street. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was really good. I ordered a half grilled cheese and fries - the fries were really, really good. The prices also seemed to be very reasonable. I recommend this if you are... More
