Naan tasted dough-y Tikka and korma had little flavor - korma mostly potato Tamarind was deagl killer for very very small samosa Disappointed
Star of India by far has the best Punjabi food in the Phoenix metro area. Preet's Shahi Paneer is to die for!
My wife and I had been talking about going to this restaurant for a while and decided to go early as we normally have our dinners around 3pm or so and they are closed between their lunch and dinner service. My better half decided to try the buffet they offered because she did not know what she would or would... More
Unlike most restaurants, Star of India has been open on Thanksgiving (in recent years at least) for those of us who are not turkey eaters. The food has always been excellent, I like the convenient location and decor, and you certainly don't have to wait for a table on Thanksgiving. But if you are expecting friendly service with a smile... More
I was never a fan of Indian food until I ate here. The garlic naan, chicken korma, keema mater, tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala are fabulous. And finally after the ordering we had to wait indefinitely to be... More
If you are looking for fabulous Indian food, this is not the place. However, if you're really craving some chicken tikka masala and don't want to leave Ahwatukee, this restaurant will do the trick. I usually go here when my daughter is begging for Indian, and I don't feel like driving 20 minutes to The Dhaba, which is more expensive... More
Near our home, and we are here at least once a month. Lunch buffet has a nice selection for vegetarians in the group. Ask for the garlic naan, yum. Not overly spicey, so you are safe taking first timers here. Very tasty tikka masala and they have THE BEST kheer (rice pudding) in all of AZ, trust us on this.... More
The food is really good, and the staff is very pleasant. We went there twice in 4 days, that is how much we loved it! PS: I am a vegetarian and unlike many Indian places, these guys had really good vegetarian food.
