All the food tasted wonderful and the man at the cashier was so friendly that he even came by and asked if I wanted extra bread because my sandwich was so soggy. Loved this place

Yuk. I've heard about this place for years and finally ventured 'downtown' to try it out using a Groupon. It was horrible. The meat was dry and tasteless, the buns on the sandwhiches were stale, table was filthy. I am shivering in disqust as I write this.

Heard this place is half way decent so had to try. Will say pretty good shared a BBQ pork sandwich with hubby, side of Mac & cheese, and their cowboy beans. Only tired one BBQ sauce didn't know if there was more to choose from (that's all hubby brought to table) but that would b my suggestion to have more... More

We flew into Phoenix for our vacation in Sedona and of course airline food does nothing for me so we asked about BBQ we are from Georgia and wanted to see what "good" bbq in AZ meant. We were told that Honey Bears was the best so after getting our rental car off we went. ( side note if you... More

We had checked out the reviews and decided to walk across the street from our hotel to try this for our last lunch in Phoenix. We gave it a fair shot -- ribs, pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and the macaroni and cheese. We didn't finish anything. We've both eaten quite a bit of barbecue of various types. This... I went here with a large group, as we were told the food was excellent. Most of us didn't finish our food, and all agreed it was certainly not what it had been made out to be. The ribs were tough, and the sides were very standard. The peach cobbler tasted like it came from a can. It also for... More

I was told that this was one of the best barbecues around. The barbecue sauce was good. A little spicy which I'm not used to, but I really enjoyed it and the pulled pork was really tasty. However... They put too much in the bun which made it really soggy and difficult to eat. Also, half of the drinks they... More

I'm a Texas gal who loves her barbeque and this is definitely up to snuff! Highly recommend, especially if you are midtown on business or staying at a nearby hotel. Heck...it's worth the drive from the burbs! Prices are cheap and meat portions are sold by the pound. Cornbread is just meh...but the collard greens beat any I've ever had.... More
