Must have a meal here !

If you like authentic mexican food this is the place to eat. Excellent food and service! This family owned business has been around for a long time and once you take a bite of your entree you will know why. We will back, probably within this same week we are here in Phoenix.

Always busy...so expect a short wait. Great traditional Mexican food. Wonderful variety of dishes...I love the green chili reanno. Hot and mild sauce with chips... soup is always brought when you are first greeted by the server. Good Steak taco salad as well. I keep coming back for consistently great tasting Mexican fare. Ice tea is brought in an extra... More

So after waiting about 1 hour outside (on a Sunday, rush hour dinner time, party of 9), ordered and waited another 20 minutes for food, the waitress was not the friendliest (seemed mad for some reason), food was a decent amount but was really greasy, like the cooks poured cooking oil on the plate so the food would not stick... If you want delicious food in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, this is the place. The shrimp enchiladas and the roasted pork carnitas are my favorite dishes. The service staff are friendly and attentive. Location? Ahhh, Meh...but it's worth it. Go now and you will be hooked!

Food was served hot and appetizing presentation. The service was very good, when I mentioned I hate cilantro the waitress whisked away the guacamole and had them make another without it. Everything is made fresh. Try the Flan for dessert.

After reading reviews decided to try this place. Spent over $40 for 2 and left hungry. Only thing we liked was the chili relenno..Taco meat was dry, given wrong drinks, waitress spilled bowl of salsa on our table. Been on the road for 6 days, worst food experience so far.

My family and I ate lunch here. Reasonable lunch specials. Vegan the meal with a good vegetable soup. Chips were nothing special, salsa was good. One was very spicy. I has the cheese enchiladas, very good. If you like refried beans, they are off the charts tasty. Glad I checked Trip Advisor!!

This is the real deal. We come here at least a couple time a month. We would come more if they were open on Monday and Tuesdays and the lines were shorter on the weekends. I guess we should not have let the word out on how awesome this food is! This place has no frills. Just good old Mexican... More

Old dance hall turned restaurant that keeps increasing in its popularity, thank goodness there is a big parking lot. Don't be put off by the crowd to get in -- the line moves quickly. Do know the large crowds, and lots of Latins, to mean the food is authentic, good and well priced. Simple decor but its about the food:... More

Our party was 35+ parents and players. The staff accommodated us nicely with only a 15 minute wait. Service was great and the food was a 10. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant when in Phoenix.
