Decided at the last moment to step in for a dinner at Jan 1st - (New Years day). Arrived @ the hotel. Lots of waiting time to get a table for two. 25 mins of waiting, still thought worth it. Finally got a table, settled down. The waitress then served us a with a glass of water after 30 mins.... More

This restaurant has the best South Indian food in the valley. I especially enjoy the goat dishes. The paper dosas are good also. The "kothu parotta" is really awesome. They should train the wait staff to make mixed drinks. They are clueless when it comes to that - but I don't really care.

Really loved the (south) indian food over there. I didnt try the buffet yet, but almost all items we ordered ala carte tasted good. It was a bit expensive though

Got a large selection to choose from. I was expecting south Indian but it had a lot of North Indian cuisines on the buffet. Had a nice filling lunch.

Visited this place on our one night visit to Phoenix, and thank god we did. Great food, a little spicy to my taste, but still loved every bit of it. Will visit again!

Hotel is very good and have good buffet on Saturday and Sunday for around $14. The spread is very good. Channa Battura for dinner was excellent. It is also value for money. What i was disappointed was parrotta was not in their menu which is liked by many south Indians.

This is my first time at the place, referred by a friend. It has a very nice décor, soft and pleasant lighting, interestingly focused on a large bar area unoccupied and as we learned, not well stocked. They had Wild Turkey brandy(odd choice) and no club soda. I opted then for the Taj beer, always good. Vegetarian is clearly the... More

As a group we shared 3 appetizers, all of which were outstanding. The Lamb Pepper Fry stood out to be my favorite. We each had our own main dish and no one was disappointed. The spice level was just right for me, but if you don't like spicy food you may need to ask them to tone it down. Must... More

We have had lunch at Chennai half a dozen times during the past year. The buffet tables are separated into vegetarian and omnivorous sections. Most of the fare is highly spiced, and is rotated so that no-one finds much repetition in the menu. It is difficult to praise a particular dish, since all are excellent. Without doubt, this is our... We visited the restaurant on 2/15/14 for buffet lunch. There was no one at the entrance to greet the customers. After waiting for a couple of minutes, one of the waitresses spotted us and she ushered us to a table. A positive experience was that she served the children water in capped tumblers. The collection of items in the buffet... More
