Very friendly and excellent food

I have to start by saying that I don't get Thai food very often, but this was the best I've had. This is a rather small restaurant, but it is well worth the trip. During a visit to Phoenix, I stopped in at Thai Rama for lunch and loved it so much that I went there for dinner. When I... read more

I met my cousin for lunch, apparently she has been going to this restaurant for decades but has never taken me! They had a very nice offering for lunch specials. I ordered a thai ice tea which was perfect. I had the yellow curry and ordered it medium, I probably could have handled the hot. The curry had huge chunks... More

A friend of mine had been raving to me about this place for years. I finally visited it in April, and then again yesterday. My April visit was a really nice experience. The servers was helpful with suggestions and explanations of the food. I couldn't recall my friends recommendations, but tried #26, Chicken (choice of meats) stir-fried with fresh chili... More

Ordered pad Thai, very little chicken and ONE shrimp, first time there and Last time!! Service is horrible, to get a refill is hopeless, very disorganized to say the least! The amount of food you get is very little of meat or seafood and a lot of noodles and rice, it's the ole 123 fool you deal

I had recently been to Phoenix on a Business trip and I was alone was looking for options for dinner. I was driving thru Camel Back road earlier in the day and had seen this restaurant and decided I will go there for dinner. Since I has some calls to take in the night, I decided not to sit and... I was in Phoenix for a month on a business trip and everyday I used to go out for lunch and Thai Rama is the place, I visited the most for lunch. The food is simply great! Loved the yellow curry and the item no. 66 (fried Rice) in their menu. It was super hot... almost had an ulcer ;)... More

As a big fan of Thai, I asked my friends to go to Thai Rama (I hadn't been before.) My friends were a little apprehensive as they hadn't really eaten much Thai food before. We were seated quickly and our servers were really courteous. The food was amazing. Really tasty and flavoursome. I particularly liked that they ask you how... More

Excellent Thai food at a great price. The waiter did a good job in describing the food and recommending their specialty dishes. My food was excellent. And the prices were surprisingly reasonable. This place is on my "must eat at" list when in Phoenix.

The wonton wraps were made with rice "dough" and the eggplant/tofu was a great meal to share. The soup brought for luncheon specials was such a nice broth we each got some to carry out - cabbage, veggies, and little chicken. We skipped lunch specials and ordered off the menu - worth it! Would like to try rice noodles next... More

I've eaten here a couple of dozen times over the past few years and it has always been consistent. Their version of sweet and sour pork is very good, and they have a chicken potato curry dish which is excellent. Many of the lunch specials cost $6.50 and come with a cup of soup and a spring roll. This may... More
