Nothing special. The food is fine, but generally relies on fat and cheese for its flavor. I love visiting New Orleans purely as a culinary destination. Eating here, I've never once though I was anywhere near the Big Easy. If u think this is five stars, you've never had turtle soup at Commander's Palace. Now that's five stars. This place... More

I live in the desert. I am no where near the gulf coast or Louisiana. When I go to Pappadeaux, I feel like I have just walked into a version of New Orleans. The brick work at the entrance, along with the fountain, porch and gazebo gives one a feeling of being in a very different place. As you walk... More

I have friends bragging for years on how great this restaurant is.. NO I do not agree very expensive, very crowded and very noisy. Was not comfortable at our table, the next table over was too close, could of eaten off their plates. The noise LEVEL was insanely loud. I was not impressed and will not be back.

If you see Pappas in the name, go there! We grew up in Houston where there are many to choose from...none disappoint. This one is all about a Cajon-like experience. The building is quintessential Pappas...charming, eclectic - something of interest wherever you look. The place is always packed...and rightly so--the food is excellent, albeit expensive. Great happy hour and a... More

I love the food at Pappadeaux. Everything I have eaten the several times I have been there is great, but the noise in the restaurant is not conducive to conversation. Come hungry, but save the chatting for later.

When it comes to quality service and delicious food that makes us go "mmmmmm" every time we go there, Pappadeaux's is our absolute favorite in the Phoenix area. We savor it for our special occasions only; when company is in town, birthdays, anniversary, etc. Last time we were there for my fiancé's birthday they didn't have his favorite Mahi Alexander... Great restaurant with the best seafood in Phoenix. A Cajun delight with big portions of seafood, the best sourdough bread, delicious fish and consistently good. The chowders and gumbos are great and they have live jazz music on the weekends. This is probably the biggest grossing and busiest restaurant in metro Phoenix.

We met friends early evening for dinner. We had a nice table by a window and thought we could best visit there and it was fine until about 6:30 when the restaurant really filled up and people had had time to start feeling the effects of the alcohol they were ingesting. We didn't get to visit as long as we'd... More

The restaurant itself is noisy and expensive. I do love their happy hour though. Also try their seafood cobb salad for lunch or dinner. Chunks of fresh crab and shrimp...and the bacon, amazing. I like it with blue cheese dressing on the side.

The place to take out of town visitors. Had a great time. They were able to seat our large group without reservation 😄
