This is a little whole in the wall local joint (from what I can tell) that was in one of our worker's old stomping grounds when he was growing up -- so he showed us the ropes. Nice! It's an order at the window and pay - -then they call your # -- which is fine. The menu was quite... More

This is an order at the counter place . They call you name / number and you go get you order. The Staff seem angry and stressed . The kitchen area you can see seems dirty and unorganized. When busy it is so LOUD there you have to shout at your own table This place was great 30 years ago. Now... More

Friend told us about Los Compadres as we were visiting in area. Glad he did. Menu isn't too extensive but each item group had was well prepared, economically priced and really tasty. Locals coming and going. Always a good sign. Nice combos. Food prepared in a timely manner. Ambience is not it's selling point but we wanted good local good... More

There is a certain sameness to most Mexican restaurants and this was no different. The menu had a similarity to it. Our food was nothing to scream about but certainly a cut above average. Our server, Jan, was over the top with service, friendliness, and satisfying with wife's quirky requests. Would we go there again? Yes.

My boyfriend and I did a little research to find a great Mexican restaurant near us, and we stumbled upon this place. It had great reviews, so we decided to give it a go. The restaurant is actually pretty cute and quaint inside. There's nothing about it that screams "fine dining" but it's a pleasant little place to eat if... More

My daughter had the refried beans here when she was 6 mos. old. Although in many ways I am a fresh food addict and farm to table person, this is a restaurant that caters to my childhood tastes of Arizona and I can not skip it when I am in town. Yes, lots of cheese, probably lard in those luscious... More

I'm sure the food is good for meat eaters. We're two vegetarians and showed up to this place cos it had great reviews on trip advisor. There are no waiters, you have to go to the counter and order. There seemed to be vegetarian stuff on the menu but then they told me everything was cooked in lard. At least... More
