Phoenix holds its own with really good, single origin coffee houses. Phoenix holds its own with its really good bakeries. But, there is only ONE place in Phoenix where you can get absolutely outstanding scones, muffins, etc to pair with your outstanding espresso beverage. Lux. Jeff and Katie have the magic combination... my favorite is a blueberry scone with a... More

I have been looking for a good place to enjoy coffee and Lux offers exceptional coffee. This place seems to be visited mainly by students and professionals in Downtown Phoenix. For those who love coffee they were able to pull a nice crema on my cappuccino. They roast they own coffee and use high quality espresso machines. Place has limited... More

It's an unique experience. Everything there is exclusive: the modern decoration, the stylish furniture, the young customers and the basic but well made breakfast menu. There was a outdoor area with tables where you can bring along your pet.

I ate here twice while on business in Phoenix. Why just go to Starbucks when you can visit a local place? The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back... the first time I went with my co-worker we were greeted with "what's up, guys?" It's a cool place. I had an Americano both times and it was excellent. We also indulged... More

This seems like a coffee hangout for many young professionals and University students. We happened to visit this place on a long weekend and the place was packed with beautiful aroma of fresh coffee being roasted on-site. Their Lattes were great and their muffins were great too. Someone had mentioned their Mac N Cheese is to die for. Unfortunately, on... More

YUMMY Coffee, great baked goods, delicious breakfast - what more could you want? Need some sweets? YUMMMMMMM. Have been here usually during the week when it's quieter and less crowded, save for some groups of students working away. This trip happened to be on a Sunday, and the line was almost out the door when we arrived. Though we had... More

I was visiting uptown Phoenix after many years away. I was pleasantly surprised to find Lux Coffeebar right up there with the trendy vibe of other hip urban centers. Crowded, funky atmosphere, artsy feel, beautifully crafted coffee drinks, and really fresh food with healthy, but tasty ingredients. Service is well-organized to move the long lines along. You place your order,... More

Lux is the best of 2 (very trendy) worlds--cafe and mixologist-bar. The coffees, drinks, and goodies are all divine, and the staff are pleasant and friendly. I will say, however, that I have had 2 experiences where I was overcharged, in addition to the already high prices. If not for these problems, they would have a perfect rating from me.
