My wife and I have been going to Durant's for 14 years. We have always enjoyed a great meal and never complained about the competitive prices for a high quality establishment with great service. Tom Night however, the salad was great, but it seemed that the martinis were watered down ($14.00 each) for the house pour and the famous prime... More

The entrance through the kitchen was a little unusual, but the food and the service was exemplary. I would make this a definite place to return to next time I am in the area.

Went to Durant's to begin a new tradition--a monthly meal with our golfing group. All members of our group are well-traveled and have eaten in some of the finest steakhouses in the country. Everyone in the group concurred that Durant's was now at the top of their list. I was challenged to join the 48 oz Porterhouse Club, but took... More

Visited this old line restaurant in downtown Phoenix after a visit to a special exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum. My wife had never been to this long time valley favorite and it had been way over 10 years since I was there. Needless to say, Durant's is the stereotypical "Rat Pack" style restaurant with red velvet walls and red... More

I cannot tell you how many times we have eaten at Duran'ts over the last so many years. We come to honor the bulldog, Humble, whose owner willed the title to the restaurant to him (find his picture on the wall), to talk to the servers - many of whom have been there for "years," and to eat the fantastically... Think of the Flamingo Casino, Las Vegas from the '60s (ala Godfather 1). Free valet. You enter from the back of the restaurant right though the kitchen -- expect a greeting like you've been there before and they are glad you're back. The drinks are strong, the steaks and seafood are cooked to perfection. Even Saturday night, food was good;... More

We were staying downtown for an evening and were led here by the hotel concierge. Really unique place starting with the entrance through the kitchen. We had a filet and bone in ribeye and both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. All the sides, salads were good also. Service was excellent!

Durants is a historic restaurant. Nothing like it in the valley. My husband and I have been eating there for more then 25 years. Never had a bad meal. From Incredible tender Steaks to delicious Seafood dishes. Great wine selection. You don't just eat, you dine, savoring every bite in your mouth. I would rate it a 5 star restaurant.... More

Park in the back, walk through kitchen and enter into a dark and rich leathery "Capone" style dining. If you're headed anywhere down or uptown, this a great place to go. Amazing food, staff is awesome, great wine selection, You never know who you're going to see there. Don't expect to show up in ragged shorts, wife beater and flip... More

You enter the restaurant through the kitchen ..... It is actually fun to say hi to the cooks. The food is delicious from the tender steaks and seafood. It is a unique experience when dining at Durant's. You won't be disappointed. Also, they have the best margaritas.
