Romantic dinner

Great little find near the Biltmore hotel. The staff is so friendly they make you feel at home. The meat sauce is thick and perfectly spiced, freshly made. A very nice find.

I've loved this restaurant, from the minute we walked in we felt like we were in a friends home. It's in a strip mall and looked like it was closed but we found out that it wasn't. It's just a hidden gem. The owner came out and welcomed us and even offered up custom menu items for one person who... More

My wife and I joined another couple for a "double-date" dinner. The only POSSIBLY negative thing was that they keep it dimly lit (romantic atmosphere?) inside. It was still sunny out when we got there, so the change was a shock, but that may be why it stuck out. I didn't think about after that except when someone came or... More

We are always greeted warmly and seated with an offer of a drink. I have a tough time ordering, since everything is excellent. The owner, Greg, picks fresh fish daily and I love the Halibut. We have tried the short ribs, veal and other dishes and they are all memorable. When I have some room left, I like to finish... More

All you need to know is the service is outstanding. The owners of the restaurant will personally come introduce themselves to you upon arrival or when you take a seat, and they will come around from time to time to check on you. They honest make you feel like you've been coming there for years...which is a nice touch. The... More

This is my wife's favorite italian date night restaurant. The food is consistently good and pretty well covers the italian-american standards with a couple specialities thrown in. Varied wine list, linen table cloths and a professional wait staff. Seated inside, it is easy to forget where you are, in fine weather, sit outside and enjoy north Phoenix.

My husband and I and a dear friend chose L'Amore for dinner and we were not disappointed. Of course, one can be hesitant to choose a new restaurant, but we took our chances, and were amazed at the quality of service, food preparation, presentation and overall taste of the menu selections. Somebody KNOWS ITALIAN COOKING! A wonderful, wonderful surprise in... More

My wife and I eat lunch out every day. As a result, since moving to Phoenix a year ago, we are always on the lookout for new places to try. We have tried just about every Italian restaurant we can find in the entire Phoenix area. Fortunately for us, L'Amore is located close to our home. For a while we... More

I've had both dinner and lunch here before, but today I was a guest of a sales exec, newly arrived in Phoenix from Michigan. She picked L'Amore based on location only. The owner seated each of the 3 of us as we arrive, switched out napkin colors for the ladies, and made sure we were happy with the service and... More

So many carbs. Good Italian Food. If your watching your carbs I had the salmon and held the pasta and asked for extra vegs. To far of a drive for us. Went with the in-laws and they paid. We did the tip. Not a big Italian food person but the experience was good. Not a big restaurant so call ahead... More
