TEXAZ Grill is a long time Central Phoenix favorite for folks from all walks of life. This is one special place to dine on a superior steak prepared with great care. Take a look around TEXAZ Grill and you will see an amazing collection of unique decorations including historic signs, Texas memorabilia, vintage advertisements and a Juke Box full of 45’s by native born Texans.Although TEXAZ Grill is known for the famed Chicken Fried Steak so big you’ll have two meals, they also serve a wide range of fresh foods. Carefully cooked, high quality chicken, steak, shrimp, prime rib, pork chops and catfish populate the menu at TEXAZ Grill. The shrimp are #1 Mexicans - the best shrimp you can get. The delicious steaks are USDA Choice, perfectly aged and hand cut in house and you will know it on sight when you take your first bite. What you will not experience is the sticker shock like most steak houses. TEXAZ Grill gives a real bang for the buck.

Wow, CFS and CFC are both wonderful

We finally decided to try the Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken at this restaurant. Both were really, really good. I love pepper gravy but my husband hasn't been a fan. We ate here once while on vacation to Phoenix, the staff was great - very friendly and attentive - no complaints on that at all. To be honest, the meal was very bland and a bit boring. I had the chicken fried steak that they are known for and while it was a HUGE portion, it was bland and kind... More

I got the idea from the 'Check Please" site and wow am I glad I did. Such great and friendly service, constantly refilled drink and always attentive. The food was awesome, not gourmet, but this is all about decent comfort food. Breaded catfish and fries, it was a struggle to finish, but was so yummy I had to, crispy breading,... More

We have passed this restaurant so many times when our daughter lived near it. Well we did a staycation in that area and decided to go there and try it. Soooooo glad we did. Really good food and wonderful staff! I had the prime rib which was very good, but my daughter had the chicken fried chicken and I was... More

As an Australian in Phoenix, this place is great for the experience, food and service. The Experience : the place is chockas with memorabilia from Texas - road signs, cards, advertising posters, bumper stickers, etc, etc, etc and even a stuffed armadillo. So as soon as you walk in, you know you in some place special. When I look around... More

This is one of my favorite steak places in Arizona. Excellent quality food. Impeccable service and great prices. Parking is a bit tight, but worth the trip. Save room for dessert! Peach cobbler and bread pudding are both awesome and big enough to share. Don't miss this little gem!

We were on a day trip through Az. Traveled from Las Vegas to the Petrified Forest then down to Phoenix and stopped in for dinner. Promptly greeted and seated. Our waitress was very friendly and informative. The owner came to our table and welcomed us. Ordered the filet. Service was quick and food was good.

A long suffering homesick Texan friend who has been exiled to Phoenix for 30 years took me to supper at the TEXAZ (Texas-Arizona) Grill. I can see his attraction to the restaurant, which has the ambiance of a Texas country roadside bar with walls filled with Texas paraphernalia. Even our waitress contributed to the Texas ambiance, with her no nonsense... More

This place has been in business for 30 years and it shows. The decor hasn't changed, I doubt the staff has changed, and the menu is probably the same as it was 30 years ago. Got sat quickly at 6 on a Saturday. Waitress came quickly. Beer and wine list is as simple and plain as you can get. Salad... More

Fun Texas-themed restaurant. Not a huge menu, but great food quality and service. Parking is a little cramped. Very accommodating, and good options for gluten-free.
