Great experience

Hosted a business dinner here for out of town folks. The service was good. The place was a bit busy so the noise level was higher than normal. The menu had several options to satisfy a party of 10. The kitchen even comped a few sample items. A must try is the home made mozzarella. Yum yum... read more

Been there once, but will never return, why people go here for food that taste like microwave food, I have no idea, suits go in during the day and local people at night who live in area I would think. Had ravioli with pork, and it was ok, very small portions and I think maye 3-4 ravioli and ate it... More

This was just a fantastic dining experience. The food was truly delicious. My spouse and I shared the beef carpaccio. I had the seared scallops with saffron risotto, my spouse the pork chop, our friends had salmon and pasta with a giant meatball. Our server, Audrey was a real professional, very gracious and just lovely. This restaurant is HIGHLY recommended.

Very good quality food, but the management obviously wants you in and out as fast as possible. We have been regulars for many years and this seems to be getting worse over time. Even after ordering a full bottle of wine the waitress comes over every 2-3 minutes, pouring it in your glass way too often and asking what you... More

Every visit to this chef owned restaurant amazes me each time. The Alaskan Halibut--- mouth watering and FRESH for the desert. From start to finish the mix of flavors freshness and beautiful presentation is what keeps locals and visitors coming back for more. There are many choices in the Valley, but this one makes the top of my list, and... More

Tarbell's is a perennial favorite. It maintains the level of quality and familiarity that makes it one of the best in the city and beyond. We had the most wonderful experience last evening - not just the food, but the wine, the service, the ambience. It's got it all. The owner was in the house last night, making his way... More

Very nice. Great service. Mr fish and gnocchi were awesome. Bottle of prisoner completed the meal. Quiet, great wine selection.

We had a delicious dinner at Tarbell's on a Saturday evening. The food was great, but the service was a bit slow. It appeared that our waiter was overloaded with tables she had to take care of, so it was a little annoying waiting for our food. When it did come however, it was really good! We had the Peppered... Tarbell's is one of a handful of Phoenix area restaurants that wouldn't be out of place in NYC. It isn't Le Bernardin or Per Se, but it would slot in nicely with Gramercy Tavern, Cafe Boulud, or Tribeca Grill. Excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere complement the very good food and interesting wine list. Like most popular places these days,... More

As a long time customer of Tarbell's, there is one thing I can tell you. The food is great ! Mark and his staff do an excellent job of delivering consistently great food. With that said, the business has been there for 20 years, and the interior of the place needs a rework. The bar (in some areas), and the... More
