Chef Paul McCabe is all about local! His partnerships with local vendors feature amazing salads, cheeses, vegetables, wines and more. Thoughtful and delicious pairings like Crows Dairy goat cheese with radish, magenta romaine and strawberries created a perfect salad. Mary's chicken with spring garlic, torpedo onions and lemon was divine. Baby carrots and turnips were perfectly prepared. Arriving at the... More

T. Cooks is such a gem. The Hacienda style restaurant is replete with beautiful touches, including a courtyard entry, heavy carved wooden doors, tile carpets. We were a large party, and ate a "family style" meal on the patio under the stars. The big wooden table, rustic lanterns and large passed platters added to the "farm to table" feel. The... More

Had an amazing dinner last night with completely local produce and cheese. Part of T. Cooks's Farmer & Chef series, the meal, served family style, featured a simple dinner salad with strawberries & goat cheese, roasted potatoes, sauted kale w/ garlic, citrus chicken and cod with a chorizo and mussell sauce. Dessert was rhubarb crisp and walnut ice cream. It... More

We recently ate at T Cook's restaurant for my wife's birthday. The restaurant ha recently undergone a total makeover with a staff, a new menu, and a new decor. The reviews had been mixed but it has always been a favorite of ours. And we were not disappointed. We ate outside in the small patio area. Our waitress was pleasant... More

After reading a March, 2014 review by a food critic with The Arizona Republic, a group of us wondered what to expect from T.Cook’s. Although reservations were a breeze and a group of 10 friends were able to secure a round table on a Sunday night, we still had some trepidation. The critic bemoaned the service, the surroundings, the décor,... More

This place is heaven on earth. With a heated brick floor patio in the gorgeous courtyard in additional to the pole lantern heaters and a fire in the outdoor fireplace, oh, my! But that's simply your surroundings. The staff are warm and welcoming and our waiter, Chris, was attentive and intuitive. The food was over the top - this is... More

I have dined here multiple times since Chef Paul McCabe has been heading up the kitchen. It is consistently fabulous and exciting cuisine. The major complaints I have about the dining scene in Phoenix/Scottsdale is consistency and innovation. This is NOT the case at T Cooks, it is definitely bringing exciting things to the Phoenix! Every meal, and every aspect... More

It seems in years past I spent several minutes trying to decide what to eat because there were so may wonderful sounding choices. Now it seems the menu is much smaller, and there's not too many choices for the non-adventurous eater. Another guest at the hotel had commented to me about this as well. For instance, if you're looking for... More

This was our first visit since the restaurant was refurbished last year. We like the ambience, the professional service, and the slightly slow delivery of food wasn't a problem for us. (Our water and wine were replenished very often.) I chose the octopus starter based on the excellent review by the Arizona Republic critic, and like the other TripAdvisor reviewer... More

Out of town friends were visiting and we decided to go for a Sunday brunch. We could not have picked a better place than T. Cook's at the Royal Palms Resort. The hotel is a Spanish colonial with understated elegance. The patio was lovely with views of Camelback Mountain. We were a party of six, two of whom chose the... More
