I remembered reading about this restaurant before going to Phoenix and had hoped to get there on our recent trip. We made it there on the last day headed back to the airport (it's very closeby). Great beef & potato burros, excellent tamales. Extremely casual atmosphere but that adds to the whole experience. The fresh tortillas are heaven. I never miss a chance to dine at Carolinas. more
