I was amazed by the quality taste of the mushroom flatbread appetizer (also it was huge) and the burger. Burger was special and I'd recommend trying it. Excellent fresh fries. Wine is overpriced but a nice selection. The rotation lets you see the city and each 55 minutes you are back to the same place. Request a view table. Be... More

Last nite on business trip decided to go here. Waiter was great. Attendent also helpful. Food average. My entrée was cold and not too easy to enjoy. Bottle of wine was good. View of city great. Able to see sunset.

Went there for the view and it did not disappoint. Our waiter, Julian, was very attentive. The food took quite awhile to come out, and we were there towards the end of the evening. I had the steak tip sandwich which was just okay...I found it to have too many competing favors. The chachuterie board was very plentiful and worth... More

Having never eaten in a revolving restaurant before we were excited to get the chance. We arrived about half an hour before sunset and it was a great pleasure to watch the city turn from day into night. There is loads to see and the rotation is at just the right pace. The service was excellent throughout the meal and... More

I can't say best I've ever had, as I've dined around the world. But this was an exception menu with a variety of prices and selections to please most everyone. Both my husband and I were very happy with our selections. He had the exceptional burger and I had the butternut squash ravioli with duck confit and mushrooms and it... More

This was my second visit. We travel to the Phoenix area every year for Baseball spring training. Each day is marked with a ballgame and a search for a good meal after the day games. We usually go to several places highlighted on the TV show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, but a friend turned us on to The Compass Room... More

Every city has a restaurant on top of a building and Phoenix is no different. The downtown Hyatt Regency is the location for the revolving Compass Restaurant. We went up for a drink and an appetizer but didn't find anything on the menu that interested us. The room really needs a makeover - the lounge has large bar seating tables... More

I've been at the Hyatt Regency for a week now and I've had 3 meals at the compass. Food is good, not awesome but definitely higher end bar food. Liked everything I've ordered. Avoid Steve's Greenhouse across the street.

Nice little quaint bar with a good staff. Their happy hour is very good. I would definitely return on my next trip
