Good Game-Watch Gathering Place

My fellow alumni get together here to watch games. Since our games often start 12:00 Eastern, we needed a place that opened that early. On Saturday, they have one of the best do-it-yourself bloody mary stations I have ever seen. Several types of mixes, hot sauces, and loaded with garnishes... read more

I was with a large group at a table of 12. We share appetizers of pizza and mussels and both were excellent. Had the pasta Bolognese which was outstanding

Stopped here for lunch just on a whim, and ended up with a great sandwich. I had the rueben, and I would rank it as one of the best I've had ever. My wife had the club, which was also good, but the real highlight for her was the onion rings - perfectly cooked and really tasty. Plus the staff... More

There are so many really excellent places for Happy hour in the Phoenix area. This one doesn't stack up. Nothing special - from the process of the drinks and food specials, to the food itself. I thought the best special on the menu were the jumbo salted pretzels, and that's not enough to bring me back,

I don't understand the need to have valet when the parking lot is 1' x 1' Anyway when I finally got and it is a bar atmosphere as expected. I ordered the half roasted chicken with asparagus. And appetizer we had the hummus and pita platter. The hummus was very average but the roasted zucchini was good. Chicken arrived and... More

We enjoyed dinner there last week on Wednesday. Didn't need the valet parking option, there were adequate spaces in the shops perimeter area. We ate inside; it was a little cooler that evening for outside dining. Our server was friendly and efficient. The spinach and artichoke appetizer was yummy and plentiful. Their burgers are delicious with some unique ingredients and... More

The service was slow from the start, waited 15 minutes for our drink orders. One of the food orders was an egg sandwich, nicely presented. After eating half the sandwich the middle the egg appeared to be uncooked. So uncooked, the egg was clear in color, totally unacceptable. A staff member had the “chef“stop by the table and take a... Since moving back to AZ, my husband loves checking out his old Arcadia neighborhood. This place looked good. Valet parking was necessary, tight lot. A fun environment, but really loud. We were there mid afternoon Saturday so maybe college football on tons of screens contributed to that. We had fish tacos - we did not care for them - and... More

Nice place. Bar is a bit small, patio is a decent size and misters work good. Service at the bar was kinda bad. Half the drinks we ordered were not on our bill. Not sure if bartender was that unorganized or if she purposely left them off as compensation for bad service.

The menu deserves a top rating. If you like "comfort food", as I do, you will love the Arcadia Tavern. Corned beef and cabbage, meat loaf, ribs, soups and Cobb salad are among the many familiar menu items. I certainly recommend the food......and the service is excellent. But, beware, the place is a sports bar and extremely loud. Valet parking... More
