Another gem in the treasure of the Heard Museium

Stopped in for a quick bite while visiting the Heard Museum. It’s a bit pricey (what museum eatery isn’t?), but the apps we had were very good, and the entrees being delivered to other diners looked delicious and attractive. i often eat a leisurely lunch here, whether or not i visit this splendid museum or not that day. it is possible to dine with friends or do business, too, but consistently low key with attentive service. i like to have several appitetizers, and a glass of wine.

We live in Central Phoenix and the Heard Museum & Courtyard Cafe is at the top of our list where we take out-of-town guests. It is also where we go to regularly enjoy the Arts District in which we live. I have ordered almost every item on the menu and have never been disappointed. Organic ingredients, creatively combined, reflect the... More

I would recommend his cafe for lunch. The salads are very fresh and tasty and the other meals seemed just as good, my partner loved the posolé. There is also a kids menu.

With or without a visit to the museum, this is a greeat place to taste great Southwestern inpired food in a very nice decor. The visit of the Museum is highly recommended as well.

Cafe is very convenient for visitors, with very good, fresh food at reasonable prices. Menu is very limited however. Another issue is that most of the sit-down area is under large table umbrellas. If it rains, you need to get very close to other members of your party. If it is the typical oven-like heat of 100+ degrees (F), it... More

The food is authentic, wonderfully light and very very good. I was pleasantly surprised. If you have a chance to get a bite of lunch here - you will not be disappointed. They use many of the native foods to the area and prepare them well. Not too pricey, either!

We met another couple for lunch at the Courtyard Café. The weather was sunny and mild, and we enjoyed a table outside in the courtyard. The menu is a bit limited, but the ingredients in each selection are clearly spelled out. I ordered the roast turkey sandwich with melted brie and lettuce on cranberry bread. It was absolutely delicious, and... More

First day visiting Phoenix, had a wonderful lunch at the Heard Museum. Everything was colorful and delicious - salsa and guac, seasonal potato / chile soup, 'dreamcatcher' salad, and posele. Prompt and friendly service on the breezy patio, well shaded under the umbrellas. Reasonable prices. Toss in the amazing museum collection and it's a fabulous day excursion.
