There were about thirty of us and we were served as efficiently as if we were four. Our orders were handled well, and all were delicious and as ordered, (rare, med. rare, etc). Wine flowed smoothly but was not pushed to oversell, as one frequently encounters at group functions. We enjoyed The... read more

We went there from the airport before heading to Sedona. We read about it on Yelp or here or both. It was a great spot. Oysters were fresh and good sauces. Service was great. Entree salads were very good. We went with the family and there were plenty of options for the kids. There was indoor and outdoor seating options.... More

I had the pork carnitas and would highly recommend ordering this entrée! I loved the combination of sweet and savory ingredients and would definitely have it again although there were a number of items that I wanted to try also. We had a map of the downtown area, but the signage on the building was a little confusing and didn't... More

We dined at the Arrogant Butcher on a Tuesday evening. Fortunately, we had reservations, the restaurant was busy. It's a unique setting, open partially to the outdoors and much in a industrial or warehouse motif. The restaurant is comfortable and active - energetic - an uplifting type of place to be. The menu was a real surprise with a large... More

The pretzel appetizer was amazing ...get it. Each of our group had something different and everyone loved their selection. Of the places we ate downtown this one was the best for sure. Service matched the food ...I'll go back here next time I'm in town.

The Arrogant Butcher is a lively, bustling restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Phoenix. As there was a short wait for an inside table (there is outside seating too, but it was a suddenly cool evening), we were shown to the bar, which had a good selection of local beers. The table came quickly: we had a comfortable... More

This place came recommended to me during a recent business trip. Eight of us got an outside table during a very pleasant evening. The location is downtown, near attractions and within walking distance of our hotel. The downtown sidewalk dining was fun and not too noisy or busy. I was surprised that the menu didn't have more meat only items,... More

This place is located right across form the sports arena and the parking garage is next door (by the way, the Arrogant Butcher can validate your ticket for two hours of free parking!) so it is convenient for a meal before a game. Also totally worth driving downtown from the burbs, just for the unique dining experience. We like eating... More

Nice place with a good atmosphere, lots of seating and good bar seats. Outdoor seating too. The wait time was about 15 mins and the hostess did seem a little confused when we were there but I but that isn't normal. Our group mainly had steaks that were really good and I had jambalaya that had shrimp, chicken and sausage... More

Our friends flew in from Portland, Oregon and we went direct from the airport downtown to this popular spot, We;d never been but had heard good things. Turns out the scuttlebutt was "on the money." Our waitress, Rachel, bless her, knew her stuff. She knew ingredients and preparation. It's rare these days to find wait staff who are knowledgeable. The... More
