Based upon the reviews we had read, we expected a knock out location and very good food. Actually, it was the other way around, excellent food in a very nice location. The food was creative, but not excessively so, and very well executed. Salmon had an unusual and delicious blackberry glaze, not too sweet. Pasta had a sausage based sauce,... More

MEMORABLE. We are very particular in our restaurant reviews, because we will spend $150-200 for a dinner for two and we expect a lot in return. This place does not disappoint. Started with cocktails as we waited for our table. We made a reservation, which is recommended if you want a table outside. I had a sazerac, husband had grey... More

what a great place to have a romantic dinner outside in the garden. the food was very creative and organic. the music is wonderfully jazzy. This is a great place to have dinner with a nice touch of class and freshness. The prices are on the high side but worth it.......

With the proliferation of amazing new restaurants near my home in N. Central Phoenix I rarely venture far to eat. I saw this Souht Phoenix restaurant on Open Table and thought it was worth a visit. I am so glad I took a little drive. This place is really special. The restaurant occupies a lovely 1920's circa home. It features... More

A beautifully restored century home on the outskirts of Pheonix with an enchanting garden dining area. We had been concerned about the service issues we had seen on this site but that night the service was excellent, even with a private party in the barn. The food was top notch and our waitress (Cara) was very helpful and knowledgeable. My... More

What a beautiful place. The House in the Secret Garden is one of the last of the lovely old homes and flower farms that used to run all the way down Baseline Road. While it is surrounded by tract homes now, you cannot see them from the restaurant and it feels like you stepped back in time. The restaurant is... More

We had a enjoyable evening at "The House". The first impressions walking in from the back parking lot is not good. The "stylish barn" & surrounding areas are eyesores....badly in need of paint & a good cleanup. But they say not to judge a book by it's cover. The restored Spanish house is quaint and quite romantic. The food was... More

Four of us spent $250 on dinner. The food was not great, and while the service was friendly and professional, the wait between courses was exhausting. I think the kitchen gets overtaxed when they're hosting a wedding or special event, as they were our night, and the restaurant patrons suffer. Admittedly, we dithered around a bit when it came to... Very slow service! Waited 25 minutes for drinks. At least an hour for soup and salads then again another 30 minutes for entrees. Made it to desserts and the coffee was cold!
